(hmm... I need a plot for this poor cat.. sorry this post is lame..)

Windgale padded quietly to the lake and sat among the tall grasses. The water was dark, too dark to see past the surface. What lay underwater was a mystery, just like the she cat staring off into the distance. Windgale sighed. Sometimes it felt as if she would never be accepted in her Clan- her father being a rogue and her mother mutilated while protecting her father. Her tail twitched as she looked up at the night sky, her usual frosty demeanor softened when no one was looking. The sky was beautiful at night, with all of the stars shining gently from above. A dark shape moved in her periphal vision and Windgale stiffened, her fur standing up. Quietly getting up, the grey she cat padded stealthily towards where she had seen the shape moving...

Lotuspetal apeared through the bushes watching Windgale staring intently at something. "What are you looking at?" she asked, whispering in Windgale's ear. "Is it prey?"

Shadowprint ran after the squirrel, his claws extended. suddenly he ran into two other earthclan cats. "sorry, lotuspetal" he mumbled, looking down at his paws. why was it so hard to talk to she-cats, even when the only cat he had ever loved was off with her own clan at the moment. " what are you doing here?"

OOC: hope its ok that he joins! =^..^=

OOC: can i join too? =P if not ignore this...

IC: Dewpelt was enjoying the great morning when he scented other cats around. He'd been hunting all night, but he still had energy and wasn't tired, so he decided to take a relaxing walk around the lake. It was still early, and he expected all other cats to still be in the dens. But he was glad that there were others around here too; it was getting boring anyways.
"Hi Windgale, Lotuspetal, Shadowprint," he greeted his clanmates. none of them were particularly close to him, but he couldn't hide how glad he was to see some cats around. "how're u all doing?" he asked, his long tabby brown tail waving back and forth.

"greetings dewpelt." shadowprint dipped his head. " i am doing well, though my hunt is not. the squirrel i was after got away when i ran into these two here." he swished his long red tail around, the long fur growing dusty. he gave his paw a lick and asked " i didnt hurt you.. did i... l-lotuspetal?" he meowed stuttering slightly. ' why is the only shecat i can talk to in fireclan? even so i still cant quite get it..' he thought cursing his feelings for the cat from another clan. " and how are you doing Dewpelt?" more out of politness than true curiosity. he had been making an effort to appear more friendly lately. 'what are all these cats doing here?' he wondered.

"oh that's too bad," Dewpelt looked to the two she-cats. "you two distracted him from his catch." he joked. "anyways, want to form a hunting group? since we're all here anyways? i was just wandering around aimlessly cause i've been out all night." he added to Shadowprint. he actually noticed that the tom seemed to be nicer recently, and he was sort of curious as to why. maybe a hunting patrol would mean he'd get some time to get some answers.

" i would be alright with going hunting with you. no problem at all" Shadowprint hoped that none of these cats would ask about anything to do with Wildheart.

OOC: it's alright. ^^ would u mind if our cats be closer friends later? cause Dewpelt's a very outgoing and fun cat, but I didn't RP with him that much, so even tho he's "supposed" to have lots of friends he doesn't really. xP besides, it could be like how Fireheart knew about Graystripe and Silverstream! interesting??


IC: Dewpelt's whiskers twitched, amused at Shadowprint's expression. looked like he was on his guard for something. "ok see you ladies later," he purred to the 2 she-cats then led the way to a dense area of the forest, away from the lake. even though he's never talked to Shadowprint much, he could sense he was less hostile than normal, and it seemed like he was hiding something. what though? he questioned himself.

"sooooo...." he started, not actually paying attention to the hunt. "u seem in a pretty good mood these days." he stated, hoping that he'd begin a topic that'll lead the other tom into saying something obvious about what he was keeping a secret.

Lotuspetal laughed cheerfully, "No, shadowprint, you did not hurt me. Windgale, i don't see any prey around here. What did you see?"

OOC: i'm wildheart's person and i think that would be so cool, what do you think leopardshadow? We made a thread in the great oak, secret meeting with shadowprint and wildheart you can join in.

Wildflight noticed a group of cats perking out from the shadows. on the ground She silently crept up to them, wondering who on earth would be out at night; with a group of cats. As she crept in closer to them, she heard familiar voices, realizing that it was her own clanmates. "Hello there." she purred, interupting them. "Having a night stroll outside?"

"Hello, Wildflight," meowed Lotuspetal, "We weren't taking a night stroll, it's just that I saw Windgale notice something, but I don't see anything."

OOC: snowstep that would be great, the only cat Shadowprint is really affiliated with is Wildheart! and it would be great if someone came to the post at the great oak, im not sure how to keep it going. do you want to start another post for Dewpelt and Shadowprint hunting or stick around in this one??? =^..^=

IC: " I-Ive been happier with..... well just plain in a better place." Shadowprint stuttered to find a way to explain his new mood without the real reason: Wildheart. he liked this cat, Dewpelt seemed to be nice and........loyal. 'unlike me' he thought sadly. " i....." but he trailed off. what could he say? how could he really get to know anyone in his clan without them finding out? or in any clan for that matter. it was lucky that he liked to hunt at night already, it gave him an excuse to sneak off to meet wildheart without suspisions. not that any cat would pay that much attention to his actions. he realized that he hadnt even scented the air yet. " well, there really isnt any explination i can give you.... i have just been... better" 'more like disloyal' he thought, hoping that Dewpelt wouldnt notice that he was distracted. he hadnt really even noticed the other cat before so there was no way that he would notice any change except the niceness. ' i wonder why i started being nice? i was such a hegehog before and then i noticed Wildheart. but i didnt get nicer untill i started meeting her. but its not a good thing, what i do, is it? how can it make me be better iif its bad?"the arguments and retorical questions ran through his head, tormenting him. he suddenly had another, better thought. 'i have just started making new friends, or well, actual friends. maybe i should stop thinking about this and start concentrating on what im doing.' and Shadowprint actually followed through. he started to pay more attention as he walked by this other cats side. the leaves rustling above sounded peaceful. and he realized that he was actually very hungry.

OOC: hm not sure; i guess they should get to know each other better before Dewpelt catches on any REAL secrets, huh? ;P oh but maybe they could go around the giant oak and he could accidently catch some scents of Wildheart? =O

IC: "Hm, that's good," Dewpelt replied, still wondering if there might be something more to it. All the other times he's seen Shadowprint around other cats, it looked like he practically clawed their pelts off. Now, they were actually having a... NORMAL conversation. Well, normal up to the point that there seemed to be something bothering Shadowprint; the light brown tom noticed that his clanmate seemed distracted.

"Dewpelt to Shadowprint!" he laughed, prodding the dark tom for him to pay attention to where he was going. Even though most cats probably feel on their gaurd and be careful around Shadowprint, but Dewpelt wasn't that kind of cat. He liked treating everyone as a friend. "Let's actually hunt," he tried to contain his laughter, since the two haven't been hunting at all and have just been wandering around very slowly. "Let's go near the Giant Oak; there's probably a lot of prey there!"

OOC: lol this will be so great! Wildheart! I caught you red handed!

Lotuspetal smiled as she watched Dewpelt pad away with the used- to- be grumpy, Shadowprint. She liked Dewpelt. Something about him always made her have a positive addittude. "Toms," she said under her breath, "You can't live without them."

OOC: Lotuspetal doesn't know about their relationship right? =O hmmmmm since we should have them rp, why not have her come along too? =P but maybe not find out? it'll be cool if it's a secret between Wildheart, Dewpelt, and Shadowprint; what'd u think?


IC: Dewpelt was about to head towards the Giant Oak, when she noticed that Lotuspelt seemed kind of bored. He glanced at Shadowprint, and could only hope that he didn't mind.
"Hey," he meowed, his eyes glinting in friendliness. "Would you like to come hunt too?" he asked, thingying his head and giving the pretty she-cat a lopsided grin.

OOC: yeah, that works! =^..^=

IC: "uh, yeah the giant oak sounds good. Going to come, lotuspetal?" he hoped that the place they had chosen to meet would be so covered by the scents of other cats that Dewpelt wouldnt figure out that he and a fireclan cat had been there so recently.

Dewpelt waited patiently for Lotuspetal's reply. He was glad that Shadowprint didn't seemed to be bothered that he was inviting another cat to come hunt with them. Like he always thought, the more the merrier! He was glad that now, whatever had happened, that Shadowprint was in a way better mood than before, and maybe he even thought to same.

OOC: yeah she doesn't know yet...

Lotuspetal's heart lifted up when she heard them ask her to join them. She purred and meowed, "I'd love to!" She followed them to the Giant Oak padding quickly to catch up with them.
