Eagletalon watched the specktical from the reeds. "Where have I gone?" he meowed stepping out. He walked next to Lakeripple, and twinded his tail with hers. "It seems that I've missed a whole party." Toxicpaw and Wolfpaw had already turned and headed back to camp.

Yeah... sorry Lakeripple..  For a second, Wolfpaw didn't reply, but then caught on to what Toxicpaw had said. She flustered in embarassment. "Yep!" She replied, trying to hide her embarrasment. "Ready whenever you are!" She quickly scooped up the fish and started towards the camp. |

Eagletalon sighed. "I know, but I need space. Between the kits and Wolfpaw, they were just swarming me," he meowed. "I'll take her for battle training in little bit. Would you like to come and bring Toxicpaw?"

Wolfpaw was glad that Toxicpaw couldn't see her face. She hoped that her clanmate hadn't guessed her disability...She growled inwardly. She had to pay more attention, she scolded herself. If she wanted to become a warrior, no one could know that she was deaf. She slowed down a bit because the fish weighed her down and, despite the problem, she liked Toxicpaw. She hoped that she would finally make a friend after being too scared about letting her secret out to make friends. She sniffed the air, noting that it smelled of Eagletalon. Argh... she thought. I missed him again!

Toxicpaw helped with the fish. Too easy she thought bitterly. I was I could have harder challenges she continued to think. Toxicpaw walked in silence with Wolfpaw. "So Wolfpaw," she said... dropping the fish and stepping in front of her, "After this, what do you want to do?" she asked kindly.
OOC: Plz dont give her harder stuff, just because she was thinking it, unless your mentor really does want to give her harder stuff.... that is all.

Wolfpaw thought for a moment, for once understanding right away what Toxicpaw had said.
"Hmmm... Wanna go explore the territory?" Wolfpaw asked, eyes bright with anticipation. "We could go on an adventure!!" She pranced around, accidently dropping her end of the fish, which she hurriedly picked back up with an apology.

Toxicpaw looked at Wolfpaw. "I dont mind...." she trailed off and watched Eagletalon and Lakeripple walk up to them. Toxicpaw flicked her ears to show she was listening and saw them come up. "Can you guess wait till we drop this fish off?" she asked. She picked up the fish, not waiting for an aswer and hurried off with the fish. Toxicpaw even dragged Wolfpaw for a little bit, until she also picked up her pace to match Toxicpaw's. *sigh through the fish*

Wolfpaw uttered a yelp of surprise through the fish as her Clanmate dragged her along, but she quickly caught up.
"Hey, wait up! Ohhh, this fish smells soooooo good!" Wolfpaw moaned, starting to drool. "I know! I'll bet Brooksplash and her kits would appreciate the fish!" Her amethyst eyes turned to her Clanmate. She could sense that something was wrong with the pretty apprentice, and it puzzled her.
"What's the matter Toxicpaw?" The silvery she cat asked as they reached the camp. "Something bothering you?"

Toxicpaw looked at her new friend. "Ko for the idea of dropping this off at the nursery." she spoke through the fish. Should I aswer her question? No... she doesnt probably care... just like everyother cat here. "Maybe later." Toxicpaw finally said and started to hurry to the nursery.

Something was definitely on the she-cat's mind, but Wolfpaw wasn't going to pressure her- at least not right now. What Toxicpaw needed, pure and simple, was a friend who would be there when she needed one. Wolfpaw was determined to be that friend. She hurried after Toxicpaw and into the nursery, where Brooksplash and her kits played. Cedarkit greeted the two apprentices, eyes shining as they entered.
"Hi Wolfpaw, Toxicpaw! Whatcha doing?" His ears swiveled towards them.

Toxicpaw dropped the fish in front of Brooksplash. "We brought this fish for you... Brooksplash." My body may be here, but my heart and spirit are with you... Fuzepaw. I hope to see you again soon she thought sadly. "Hello Cedarkit." she finally said after a very long pause. She touched noses with him. "How are you today?" she asked kindly

Wolfpaw stared worriedly at the she cat as Cedarkit touched noses with Toxicpaw. She would find out later what was bothering her friend. Hopefully, she added to herself, she would be able to help in someway. Cedarkit's mouth moved, dragging her back to reality.
"I'm good! Guess what Toxicpaw," he squeaked excitedly. Hollykit, Brooksplash's adopted kit, attacked Wolfpaw's tail excitedly, distracting her from Cedarkit's next words.
"I'm gonna be an apprentice soon!!" He jumped around, squealing happily.

Toxicpaw purred and said, "That's great news Cedarkit... or should I start to call you CedarPAW!" Toxicpaw looked down at the little kit. I hope to have some of my own... but not yet she added quickly to herself. "I know you'll do great at being an apprentice... then a warrior!" she added excitedly

Cedarkit thrust out his chest proudly. " Do you really?" He asked excitedly.
Wolfpaw caught on to Toxicpaw's words. "Congratulations Cedarkit! I wonder who your mentor will be?" She gave Cedarkit and Hollykit a brief lick on thier heads. "Well, now that we've dropped off the fish, do you think our mentors are waiting for us?"
