Battle training and fun [moonlitpaw, shadowfire,]

Firemist walked toward the Flame Tree. "Attack me Moonlitpaw," Firemist told her apprentice. "If I seem to struggle Shadowfire will come to my aid. You'll have to be ready for me to attack you when Shadowfire distracts you, and when he attacks. Ready? Go!"

Shadowfire felt his skin twitch as a small bug tickled his fur. With the air warming up, that ment more bugs. The bengal tom grunted, and couldn't help but watch the new leaves sway soflty in the breeze. It almost seemed like they formed a picture of two small kits running around and pawing at a butterfly. . . . . .

"....-Ready? Go!"

Snapping back, Shadowfire's pale green eyes flicked at each detail of the scene before him. Judging by how everything was, and from what he had heard before the 'go', it seemed like Moonlitpaw was going to do defence. With a small bored grunt, Shadowfire rolled his shoulders to stretch the muscles in them, and then silently bent down into a hunters crouch. Awaiting Moonlitpaw to react.

"Moonlitpaw," Firemist meowed, "focus." Firemist twiched her ear at Moonlitpaw. The apprentice was sitting dazed looking at nothing. Firemist pretended to lunge to see if Moonlitpaw would react.

ooc: bump! Lakeripple's back maybe it will be more fun!

Moonlitpaw leaped out of the way. "Hello!" she hissed good naturedly. "Lost in thought here!"

Firemist stepped back and nodded to Shadowfire. "Attack me," she meowed. "If I need help Shadowfire will help me out. Let's see how you cope."

Moonlitpaw flicked her eyes for an opening, then lunged, leaping into the air at the last moment, and landing squarely on Firemist's back. Then, she thought heavy and managed miraculously to push down her mentor. Leaping off, she stood a rabbit length away and asked, "Good enough for you?"

ooc: wouldn't be counted as power-playing *Thinks "Oh well"*

ic: Firemist took that brief moment when Moonlitpaw wasn't paying attention. She pinned her apprentice on the ground. "Never let your guard down. An attackers can strike at anytime." Firemist stepped off her apprentice.

OOC: am i aloud to come into the rp with all of you guys... with Darkheart... so ill wait till some1 answers, unless one of you says yes....... so yea.

OOC: It's not power playing, because I'm not using my strengths, just luck, and it's not a battle.

Moonlitpaw just purred and once again got lost in thought.

Firemist laughed. "I think she needs a little double teamed," she whispered to Shadowfire. She flicked her tail and waited for Shadowfire's signal that he was ready.

IC: Darkheart heard the converstation and stepped forward from the shadows. "Hello everyone." Darkheart dipped her head and smiled. There was something about her smile that didnt seem right, but no one commented on it. Darkheart looked at all of them, "Um, mind if I join?" She waited for a reply from the warriors.

Firemist looked at Darkheart. "Sure, why not?" she responded with a slight purr.

ooc: now we wait for Pikeru to come back from Texas...

OOC: and for me to get back to camp on saturday!!! Ko also, i have a great idea for a prophecy, but not so sure wich thread it's suppose to go in... can you help me???

IC: "I think I'll sit out of the first couple of rounds... and to wait to join in." Darkheart said softly. So, why does she keep huanting me in my dreams... i really dont think she's forgaven me yet Darkheart thought sadly. Someone must have noticed, because someone asked if she was ko. "I am." was her weak reply.

IC: Shadowfire gave a small nod to Firemist when Moonlitpaw began to be lost in thought once more. Flicking his ear to hint his move Firemist, the Fireclan tom charged forward with his head low. The tom tried to do this in long and fast strides for one reason. Just as Shadowfire became whisker length away from Moonlitpaw, he turned suddenly. This sprayed dirt and undergrowth at the apprentice. In a swift bound, the tom used this as a distraction, and stopped behind Moonlitpaw. With a playful grin, Shadowfire aimed a few light taps at the she-cat's hind legs. The Fireclan warrior flicked his bengal tail as a silent sign to Firemist for her to go now.



OOC: *looks back at old posts* It is kind of power-playing. Note how I gave the option for Moonlitpaw to be either hit or not by Shadowfire's taps. Now, Lakeripple, it is your turn to think, judging my Moonlitpaw being only an apprentice and stuff, to how she will react to the undergrowth being a unknown distraction, and the sudden attack from the rear at the same time.

But to avoid any arguing, lets ignore the little dilemma on the old posts and continue. Okays? ^^"

Firemist watched Shadowfire's attack. He flicked his tail to her. She lunged toward Moonlitpaw. As she was about to hit, she fell to the ground and rolled for Moonlitpaw's hind legs.

Moonlitpaw blinked as dirt fell on her beautiful fur. She turned her amber eyes to Shadowfire in a kind of playful pout. "Two against one?" she mewed in a sad voice. "Does that really seem fair?" Then she lunged happily toward her mentor, purring playfully.

Firemist swerved around her apprentice. She flicked her ears at Shadowfire, indicating for him to have a go.

Moonlitpaw glanced at Shadowfire, and angled her ears as if to say, bring it on.
