Lakeripple stared up at the stars from her vantage point on the banks of the Lake of Waters. She wished for warm fur pressing on her sides, but all there was was open air and the sky to stare at.

Yet Lakeripple didn't care. She wasn't ready to go back to a Clan where barely anycat trusted her. She thought that maybe they'd be better off without her.
