Ready?

Smokepaw lay beside the Waterfall, his eyes never leaving the sight of the fast moving water. I sure don't want to be anywhere near it, especially not IN it. He thought to himself as he licked a paw.
It was a very beautiful scene, with the shining water making sprays and foam as it splashed from so high. The apprentice liked watching it, but just thinking of swimming in water like that made him shiver.
He's been here since dawn, and hoped his mentor wouldn't have trouble finding him. He just didn't feel like sleeping in today.

[Honeydew]

"Whoa!here you are took me a while to find you,I didn't think you'd do here.Are you ready for the next session?I hope so because we are going to swim!"

Smokepaw felt like his heart stopped for a second there when his mentor mentioned SWIMMING. "um, run me by that again?" he thought he heard wrong, and actually HOPED so. "uh, HERE?!" he asked, panicking already, his fur standing on end.

[Honeydew]

"ya I thought you picked this place that's why your here right?"She wanted to trick smokepaw into swimming here.She knew he didn't want anyone to know he was afarid.

"um, yes of course. why else would i come to somewhere like this?" he tried to sound confident but he couldn't help but glance nervously at the fast speed of the water... that could kill him.
he licked his fur back down, hoping HOneydew didn't see it rise with fright. "so what are we waiting for?" he mumbled, though he hoped she'll take as long as she wanted.

[Honeydew]

"alright then jump in!Don't worry I will be right here.Just remember like last time alternate kicking your legs and arms and most importantly stay as calm as possible."She knew eventually
he would get it ...she hoped

"u mean... j-j-just jump in?!" Smokepaw couldn't keep the quiver of fear from his voice as he thought of how he could drown in the water... "um, why dont u show me first?" he asked, taking a nervous step back. he knew she'll get him in one day, but he certainly wasn't ready now. he needed the mental preparedness, which is very thin right now. he needed help from the heart.

[Honeydew]

"that's okay" she couldn't help laughing at the fact smokepaw seemed to act like a little kit.Then she just jumped in the water.She loved the way the water felt around her.She really missed being in the clan.then she called out "come on in the water's fine!"She knew he wouldn't go in without a fight.

"uh today seems a little cold and... uh..." Smokepaw frowned and pretended to sneez. "i think i'm coming up with something." he lied and turned. "maybe tomorrow..." he hoped Honeydew will let him go, at least for now.

[Honeydew]

"alright tomorrow smokepaw but tomorrow you meet me here and you are going to swim!"She stayed in the water and went near the waterfall she loved to feel the mist on her fur.Then she soon got out and went back to camp.

Smokepaw sighed with relief and hurried away as soon as possible, dodging into the apprentice den although it was only sunhigh.
