IC: A silhouetted firey shadow stood straight and handsomely under a giant, but bare tree.
Burningstar looked up at the tall tree with something shining in his bright amber eyes. New-leaf is coming... The leaves of this tree is going to grow again soon.
He thought about the fantastic tree that resembled burning fire; the most wonderful sign that it's FireClan territory.
He sniffed the air as a soft breeze blew by. It smelled like new-leaf. It was drawing near.

Rascal laughed then when he blinked twice & skidded as he saw the fiery shadow.rascal gasped in shock & unsheathed his claws & raised his hackles almost instinctively. "we should go" rascal pointed out while still holding his defensive look. Rascal stepped back stepping on a twig making it crack, o mouse bile! rascal thought feeling quite clumsy.

At the sound of the twig, Burningstar whipped his head back to the two tresspassors. The leader's fur rose and his bright amber eyes sharpened. He was about to attack the two cats when he reconized a scent...
"Um, Burningstar! It's Snowstep" the SkyClan she-cat mewed out. The FireClan leader's reaction kind of scared her. She's never seen him be serious before except at gatherings. Since she was his friend since apprenticehood, she was used to him being fun and joking.
Maybe the leader wasn't all fun and games... She thought. "Sorry that we've crossed the borders..." She apologized.
Burningstar's fur lay flat again. "Oh, Snowstep, hi!" the leader purred at his friend. Then turned to the unfamiliar cat. "So, who's this?..." He asked, coming closer to Rascal, his claws unsheathed...

Rascal dug his claws into the ground warily then relaxed his fur & held up his head "I'm rascal" he spoke.Rascal looked at the fire clan leader & starred into his eyes almost challenging him.a mouse was near by rascal could smell its scent he tried not to get distracted by it & sheathed his claws feeling calmer than before.

Burningstar took a minutes to stare into Rascal's defiant eyes.
Then... he sheathed his claws and stood up straight, grinning at the kittypet.
"Snowstep, you've got a brave friend here" He purred, back to his fun self. He wanted to test the tom to see what kind of cat he was.
"I'm Burningstar" he introduced himself and sat down, then turned to Snowstep.
"So is he your new tom-friend?" she asked with a laugh.
Snowstep blushed and licked her fur down. "Um, Rascal and I just met. And...uh... I was just showing him the forest..." She mewed.

Rascal glared at bruningstar unsure of the leaders personality change. "snowstep are you sure it was a good thing me coming here i mean ill only get mocked!" rascal sighed while still keeping his eyes on burningstar.Rascal flattened his ears & lowed his head Ill never be like them i don't belong here he kept saying over & over in his mind whilst prodding at the ground with his paw.

Burningstar took his glare off Rascal, and turned to Snowstep. "Guess u guys better leave. Ur friend doesn't seem to enjoy being here." the leader mewed and turned. "I won't do anything about u tresspassing. no harm done" he disappeared amoung the darkening forest, leaving the two alone again.
"Um, well I guess we'll better go now..." Snowstep mewed and moved back onto SkyClan lands quickly.

Rascal watched the leader go & nodded to snowsteps comment.Rascal knew the cats were wise to him the knew he wasn't what he seemed if rascal didn't wanna get found out he would have to be more discreet."yes I'm coming snowstep" rascal meowed whilst looking where burningstar had walked off to.rascal narrowed his eyes then ran off after snowstep.

Burningstar sighed, sitting by the Flame Tree once again, alone. He liked the visit from Snowstep, but her friend didn't seem to enjoy being around much. He hoped his weird jokes didn't freak the kittypet out.
He leaned comfortably against the trunk of the tree, which was now almost fully leafed with redness, and licked a paw, drawing it over his ears.
He was SO bored. His clan was fine, and everything went well. TOO well. So well that there was nothing needed to do. Prey was plenty now that leaf-bare is over, and nothing much was happening in the clan at all.

Gingerleaf saw Burnignstar sitting alone and smiled, know was her chance to tell him, but she couldn't do it. So instead she padded up to him and said," Nice day today!"

Burningstar turned and grinned. "Hey Gingerleaf!" he mewed cheerfully. Finally someone to talk to ! He was getting SO bored!
"Yup, newleaf is here" He turned and stood, looking up to the bright red tree that almost matched his dark firey pelt. "So, how're u doing? It's a good thing FireClan is doing good now that the prey has come back!" He purred, enjoying every moment of life so far. Even though he still has nine!
OOC: well, for the mates, we'll have to start from the biginning! start from liking/friends maybe? then love, then kits. ^^

Gingerleaf nodded, " I am doing fine, There is nothing to do n camp, you dont need to hunt, and i dont have an apprentice so i like to take strolls, how about you?" She walked around the tree and the sat down near Burningstar

Burningstar purred warmly and closed his eyes, the sun warm on his pelt. "There really aren't many apprentices in Fireclan, are there? Hm, well, I just like to enjoy every day that passes; every day that becomes more full of life under StarClan" He mewed slowly, then turned to Gingerleaf, looking straight into her eyes.
It only lasted for about two heartbeats, then he turned back to the tree. "U know, ever since I was an apprentice, I've felt some connection with this tree the first time I saw it. I makes me feel calm... and... strong. It gives me confident. To lead the clan, and protect all the cats."
His gaze fell onto Gingerleaf again.
"If you ever get lonely, or scared, remember the way this tree stands tall and proud, letting all see its strong, bright colour. Think of this tree, if you need confident in doing anything."
He closed his eyes again and smiled, his head held high.

Gingerleaf meet Burningstar's gaze twice. She was glad to have a place she could talk and calm down," Thank you, I will remeber that!" She walked around shuffiling her paws. She looked up at the sky and meowed," It is nearly dark tonight. I will see you back at camp" SHe padded off then stopped to see Burningstar next to the tree, she smiled and padded on more.

Burningstar didn't notice that the sun was slowly setting. He turned, and decided to follow Gingerleaf back. "Hey wait up!" He mewed cheerfully and caught up to the she-cat. "I'll come too! It's been quite a while that I've been out here" He remembered that he was out since dawn, and didn't eat for the whole day...
"So you want to hunt before we return?" He asked with a large grin. "My stomach sounds like thunder" He laughed as his stomach growled.
OOC: in case u didn't know, Burningstar's personality changes quite a bit. Usually he's cheerful and fun, like now, and sometimes he becomes serious, especially during gatherings or time his leadership is needed. ^^

" Sure!" she mewed wanting to impress her leader. She scented a rabbit, she ducked down into a crouch and bounced onto. She killied it and picked it up in her mouth.

Burningstar nodded his thanks, and finished half the rabbit in a few famished gulps. "Here" he mewed, pushing the half eaten rabbit back to Gingerleaf. "Thanks!" He licked his mouth a couple of times.

Gingerleaf gracefully ate her rabbit and sign in satisfaction, she enjoyed spending time with Buringinstar, maybe a little too much. " We should get back to camp"
