Rascal ran through the kitty door & into the kitchen where a small girl scooped him up into her arms & gave him a warm hug. rascal purred & thats when he decided that this is where he will stay forever & will only leave the house if necessary. the girl put rascal down & put some food into his bowl, rascal padded over & sniffed it."yuck!!" rascal spat he didn't no why but the food didn't seem as appealing after he had smelt the sweet scent of mouse.rascal pushed the food bowl away with one paw & walked into his basket, cozy, warm & where he belonged he slowly drifted off to sleep.

"RASCAL!!!" Prettie, the 5 moons old little kitten, mewed as she jumped onto the tom's belly. "Where were u?" she laughed and jumped around on him and in his basket. She was wide awake after a small nap before Rascal left the house, and was bored to death. Finally, someone for her to annoy!

Rascal leaped in the air from shock. "Hey whats the big idea!!!" rascal yowled very moody & annoyed.Rascal looked at the kitten Aw man not pettie!! rascal thought whilst licking his fore paw. "prettie i was in the middle of a nap I'm very tired..What in starclan do you want!" rascal said with an angry tone in his voice. O no i said starclan! rascal thought to himself as he licked his breakfast from his fur.

Prettie looked at Rascal with question in her huge eyes. "What's a starclan?!" she asked. but then she didnt really care. she just wanted fun!
"have u been out again? i KNOW that the cats out there are in clans! i've heard u talk to yourself about that before!" she laughed and poked the larger cat with a paw.
"aren't i smart?" the little she-cat purred and made herself comfortable in Rascal's basket.

Rascal frowned at the young annoying cat. "erm nothing you should worry about" rascal said trying to cover his lies. shaking his head rascal sat up & gently but harshly pushed prettie away "nosy is the word for you now leave me alone" rascal said as he padded away & leaped on the kitchen table so prettie could not reach him.rascal sat down & wrapped his tail around his paws.

Prettie hurried after Rascal, and also tried to jump up but wasn't strong enough to get up.
"Come down.... PLEEEAAASSSE?" Her bright purple-blue eyes shined with tears. Then, she made her adorable kitten look, making her eyes wide and teary.

Rascal looked down at prettie he knew what would happen if he went down there & it wasn't good. "sorry I'm gonna continue my nap with out you pestering me!" rascal spat. shrugging off a feeling of resentment rascal closed his eyes, lied down & tried to get back to his nap.rascals whiskers twitched & he suddenly jumped to his paws, racing over to the window sill rascal looked out on too the fence post where he had first met snowstep.

Snowstep stood behind a small tree near the fence post, watching the place where Rascal had disappeared off to. She watched with her eyes almost to slits. Then, she saw the tom race to the window... And she quickly hid back into the forest.
Maybe I shouldn't bother him. He seems to be happy where he is now The she-cat thought, then went slowly on her way.
"Hey, what are u looking at?" Prettie asked, trying to see through the window from where she was. "I don't see anything!" She protested with a frown, and tried to jump higher, but didn't get anywhere at all. "Tell me!" The kitten pouted.

Rascal thought he saw the gray pelt of his skyclan friend then shook his head & turned to prettie. "you ask way to many questions" rascal said whilst knocking the kitten away. snowstep ? rascal questioned himself. turning to prettie rascal frowned & leaped down walking over to his two-leg who had just entered the room.rascal meowed a greeting as his girl scooped him up & carried him to her bedroom.

"hey!" Prettie followed Rascal and the owner into the room before the door closed. The young kitten meowed and purred, using her 'cute wide eye' technique that didn't work on Rascal.
"Aw!" the owner made a sound like that and picked the kitten up, setting her beside the older cat.
"hah!" Prettie purred and closed her eyes when the girl patted her on the head with careful strokes. "although that didn't work on u, it sure works on the feeder!" She stuck the tip of her tongue out and rubbed her head against the owner's hand. "U're too used to me!" she mewed to Rascal.

Rascal shrugged at prettie & nuzzled the girls arms but she simply pushed him away & continued to make a fuss of prettie. rascal scrunch up his face & turned away washing his chest.rascals ears pricked & he ran out the room into the kitchen.
Arriving into the kitchen he leaped onto the windowsill & squeezed out the tiny gab in the window.

"HEY! WHERE'RE U GOING?!" Prettie mewed and wanted to hurry after Rascal again, but the girl kept on petting her and didn't seem to want her to leave. She squeaked in protest but gave up to the soft petting on her head.
Snowstep kept going, head down, walking away from the twoleg place. She went at a slow pace, ignoring the sounds and smells of prey and the scent of new-leaf. She wasn't even sure WHAT she felt now.

Rascal leaped onto the flat grass of his two-legs garden & quickly ran over to the fence climbed over it & ran toward the forest. rascal darted his head left & right & suddenly noticed the gray pelt of snowstep he smiled with joy & followed her slowly trying not to make a sound.

Snowstep stopped in her tracks, sat down, and sighed. Why was her mind and heart wandering?
Then, she felt eyes on her, and her ears flickered backwards. Is it...him?... She asked herself, her heart beating slightly faster.

Rascal stopped as did snowstep he put one foot forward but ascendantly stepped on a twig snapping it. not again he thought as he lowered his body almost to the ground, he did not know why he was submitting but he felt something like a force push him like wind blowing a tree down.

Then, Snowstep heard the branch snap. She slowly turned, and saw Rascal, almost flat against the ground.
"Rascal?" the she-cat took a step towards him. "I thought u would never want to come into the forest again..." she asked.

Rascal stood up & stared into the she-cats eyes knowing he couldn't lie. "look snowstep i..i. i can't live in that two-leg nest i just don't feel comfortable there i guess i never really have & when you showed me your territory i acted scared but really i wasn't I'm sorry" rascal confessed. rascal flattened his ears sadly & felt ashamed he looked over his shoulder seeing prettie through the window rascal pricked his ears What if she follows me! he thought.

Prettie looked out of the window, seeing that Rascal had left home again. She grumbled angrily and decided to go follow him.
She squirmed out of the girl's grasp, and although the owner tried to catch her again, she slipped quickly out of the window and left the garden, onto foreign grounds...

Spinning around almost instantly rascal gazed at prettie & snarled like a rabid dog. " GO AWAY PRETTIE" rascal spat while his claws sheathed & unsheathed. Rascal's ears flattened & his fur spiked up, he had no idea why he was behaving this way but he couldn't control himself, he slashed out with one paw; claws unsheathed & smacked prettie round the head.
