Sunset sniffed the air. He muscles relaxed and she leaped for joy. Her father was here! Maybe he could tell Thawpelt that she was not a threat to the Clan.
Unbeknownst to Treestar, Forestfur crept behind. He had to see his sister, maybe she could explain things to Treesar. Yet when he looked up, he saw Thawpelt as well. he bristled. Had his sister tried to explain to the SkyClan warrior and had things gone wrong?

"Thawpelt?" Treestar questioned, as he came close to his daughter and son. Surprise was clear on his face.
Thawpelt whipped his head around, and locked his dark blue eyes with Treestar's. The odd colored tom had no expretion on his face, and his eyes were still clouded. "Father..." Thawpelt chirped softly to the Earthclan leader.

Sunset looked proudly at her father. "Pleased?" she asked.
Forestfur bounded up the hill. "Hello brother, sister, and father," he mewed. The only word he said with happiness was sister, he spat out father like it was a bad word and nearly clawed Thawpelt as he said brother. Treestar thought him thick skulled and mouse brained. He had said so himself.

IC: Treestar frowned at the way Forestfur said "father" and "brother". Forestfur didn't get it. Just because Thawpelt was the first born, doesn't mean that he was any more important in the leader's heart then all the rest.
Thawpelt cought the way Forestfur had said "brother". The odd colored tom whipped up, and around, and shoved his nose in Forestfur's face. "You looking to start something? 'Cause I'm in any other mood then to be nice right now." The Skyclan tom's dark blue eyes blazed with anger.

Sunset glared at her brothers. "Forestfur!" she hissed. "Just because Thawpelt is in a different Clan doesn't mean that he is not a good cat. And Thawpelt, I will claw you, as well as Forestfur if you start something in MY territory and scare Misty. She is two moons younger then I and I feel responsible for her."
Forestfur let his fur lie flat and he looked at Sunset. "Who's Misty?" he asked.

Treestar gave another sigh, and shook his head slowly to himself. Why were his sons acting like this? After a few moments, he turned to Sunset, "Misty? She must be another cat that lives here with you, right?" Treestar asked, trying to ignore any nasty looks that were being thrown at him.
Thawpelt snorted harshly, and whipped around. Once more, he flopped infront of his mother's grave. The tom crossed his paws in front of him, and placed his chin on top. The Skyclan warrior's dark blue eyes rested on the two small paw prints that were kind of forever placed in the mud. The odd colored tom just wanted to shut everything, and everyone out for the moment. And, so he did.

Misty sat, perched on a tree, just out of view, looking down on her freind and some other cats. "perhaps i should leave Sunset to sort this out" she thought to herself. She could make out any of what the cats were saying, she was too far away. She hoped no cat noticed her. She felt like she was spying on her freind, "perhaps I should go back" her mind began to think up all sorts of things "what if these strange cats hurt her?" Misty had no idea who these cats were and decided to stay just incase. OOC:  Nosy Misty  |

Misty wondered what was going on down there, after a while she realised that there were no signs of danger and the strange cats seemed to mean no harm to her freind. Gratefully she slunk down the the tree and sat on one of its roots giving her beautiful white pelt a 'quick' groom. OOC: Sorry for double post  |

"Misty is my new friend," Sunset mewed, glaring at Forestfur who was sneaking up on Thawpelt and preparing to pounce. "She's had a hard past and now lives with me. She's great company and lots of fun. But she's in bed right now and if you guys wake her up, I will not ask why but claw you, family or no family. Thawpelt has the right idea, why don't we all lay vigil for Moonrise."
Forestfur looked up guiltily from his creaping. He just couldn't get over the fact that he had a brother in SkyClan. He didn't much like Thawpelt, and was quite certain that they only shared parentage. Maybe he should listen to Sunset though. He looked down at his mother's grave and flopped down next to Thawpelt, refusing to look at his older brother.

Misty pricked her ears, down here she could just hear what they were saying, but couldn,t see them, hopefully meaning no cat could see her. After what sunset had said, Misty remembered that she had been asleep and woke up seeng sunset dissapear into the trees, she followed her and hid in the tree. She was still quite tired and stifled a yawn, she was glad her freind was safe, Misty needed somebody to look after her. But, she was ready to go back just yet. She stayed awhile and listened.

IC:"I don't want my fur clawed off, but is that her?" Treestar joked, before casually flicking a ear to a young cat in the distance. This flick of the ear, that gave away the possible Misty, could easily be mistaken as a defence agenst a annoying fly that had gotten to close. The Earthclan leader only closed his eyes, when he spotted what Forestfur had been trying to do.
Thawpelt had been able to block them all out, but only until he had heard silent paw steps to him. The older Skyclan warrior planned out all possible moves in his head, and was ready to use one, when they stopped. Thawpelt was slightly disapointed, becasue he had been wanting to attack his brother. And, if Forestfur had attacked first, then that would have given his a excuse. Just then, he felt someone flop beside him. Ignoring this, he just looked on at his mother's grave.

"Drat, she is awake! She is a sweet cat, but you can't ever get a second privacy!" Sunset hissed. Her words were harsh, but her voice was full of laughter. She beckoned with her tail to the young she-cat, whilst glaring at Forestfur and Thawpelt who were obvioulsly planning fighting moves in their minds. "Idiots," she growled. "If you two break out in full-fledged fight on my territory, the both of you will be thrown out and banned from ever returning. Fight all you want over your precious borders in Clan life, but not here."
Forestfur looked guiltily away from his sister and let his gaze fall on the two small pawprints in the mud. Sunset's he guessed. This must be Moonrise's grave.

Misty suddenly realised she had been spotted and saw Sunset's signal, slowly, she padded over and looked at all the cats around her. Three toms, they all smelt a bit unusual. At least, not like Sunset anyway. She cleared her throat and mewed, "Hello... Um, I'm Misty," She glanced down at her paws for a breif moment, these cats made her a little nervous "Who are you?"

"It's okay Misty," Sunset meowed. "This is my family. That is Treestar my father," she flicked her tail towards Treestar. "And Forestfur and Thawpelt, my brothers." She glared at her brothers. "Who will get along if they want to stay in our territory."
Forestfur glanced uncomfortabely at Sunset. "Sorry Sunset," he mumbled. "Old rivalries die hard."

Misty looked at Sunset's family and inched towards her. She leaned to one side whispered in her ear "They have funny names don't they?". She glanced back at Treestar, Thawpelt and Forestfur. Treestar seemed to have a slight sense of authority around him, was he an important cat?

"To us maybe," Sunset mewed. "But they are Clan cats, not lone-walkers. They live in the territory you have seen me looking at."
Forestfur's tail bristled. Funny names? But then he heard his sister saying that Misty and her were lonewalkers. But they were rouges! "Uh, Sunset, don't you mean rouges?"
Sunset glared at Forestfur. "No, I mean lonewalkers! You Clan cats gave us that cruel name just becuase we don't much like your way of being." She looked at Misty. "Pay them no heed, they were just raised like that. Rouge is not a bad thing." She stared challengingly at her family, daring them to object.

Misty sat down beside her freind, these cats were... strange, but they seemed okay. "Clans," she mused. The idea semmed a bit weird to her but she opened her mouth to say something but then thought better of it, instead she merely said "Well, it was nice meeting you" she dipped her head and glanced over to the tom lying on the floor.

Treestar dipped his head in greeting to Misty. "Nice to meet you Misty. I am Treestar, leader of Earthclan. And no, rouges aren’t bad. Well.....most aren’t...." The Earthclan leader trailed off, as he glanced to the dark territory, of the Tribe of Dark Deaths. The horrible tribe was hardly peaceful, and their exiled become dangerous rouges.
The odd colored tom rose to his paws, and padded up to Misty. A half hearted smile on his face. "Pardon my rudeness. My life hasn't been going well lately." After the Skyclan tom spoke these words, his half hearted smile disappeared, and his face became a emotionless pit once more.

Misty blinked. "Uh, Sorry... Thawpelt? I... I had no idea" she murmured. She patheticly tried to change the subject. "So a leader?" she mewed looking at Treestar, then at Sunset.

"Yep," Sunset mewed, rolling her eyes. "Mr I can do it all and everyone will do as I say." She thought back to the first time she had met her father and how she had been discusted by his, 'I am leader here too' attitude. "No offense meant, Treestar."
Forestfur looked up at the sky, where one star was shining brighter then the rest. "Moonrise," he murmured. Then he yowled, getting to his paws. "Moonrise!" The star gave an answering twinkle, then it morfed into the face of his mother.
Moonrise gazed down at her family and Sunset's friend. "I have watched you long," she mewed. "And now you gather before my grave. From the living world I have been vacant from for four seasons, but never have I stopped missing and loving you. Look to me whenever you feel pain, and I will be with you." Then the beautiful silver she-cat vanished.
