Sunset sat sadly on the ground near her mother's grave. Little wildflowers had grown up around it and the top was covered in grass. Yet you could still make out the pawprint that she as a kit had placed at the top. It had been rainy that night as she had buried Moonrise, and she had placed her small paw in the mud as a reminder of the place. Tonight she felt that it was the anniversery of her mother's death, and so tonight she would sit and mourn Moonrise again. Four seasons had passed since that horrible night, and Sunset wasn't a 2 moon old kit anymore, but even at 14 moons, she was still grieving, still missing her mother...

Thawpelt padded slowly threw the tall grass. His eyes were slightly clouded from saddness (see "Mr. Perfect" to see why...and....some other one...I forget...). The oddly colored tom turned his dark blue eyes to the midngiht sky. The stars are beautiful. The tom let his snow white paws step threw the light snow, that hardly covered the tall grass on this part of the land. Thawpelt was walking blindly somewhere. Starclan was slowly taking him somewhere, and the tom had hardly noticed the other cat sitting some distance in the distance. It seemed like a thin thread was leading him somewhere. The 25 moon old tom stopped beside the ginger she-cat, and looked down at a patch of grass, that had two paw prints in it. "Why am I here?" Thawpelt whispered out loud for some reason. It was like he expected the other cat no know. The tom was too sad and troubled, that he didn't even thow where he was, nor that he was talking to a cat that could beat him easily in this mindless stage.

"Thawpelt?" Sunset's voice quivered. "Here tonight, of all nights. But, oh my! You don't even know who I am, do you? Or whose grave you are standing upon."

Thawpelt looked at the cat blankly, and only blinked. He turned down. Thawpelt let his dark blue gaze set on what he guessed was the grave. Gently, he placed a paw in one of the old and dryed paw prints. His frown didn't change, as he notced that it almost fit. These were the prints of a young kit. It wouldn't fit fully.

"Thawpelt," Sunset mewed slowly. "I have waited long to meet you. Ever since I was told of you, I wanted to." She sighed and glanced down at her kitten pawprints. "This is the grave of my mother, Moonrise, and my name is Sunset. You will not recognize either name, but you mean more to me then I can say. Er, oh drat, Treestar is so much better at this then I."

"Treestar? Then you are of Earthclan? How did I wander into Earthclan territory?!" Thawpelt's eyes grew slightly larger, as he searched around quickly, to make sure no warriors were getting ready to attack him. Then he paused, and turned back to Sunset. A questioning look on his face. "How do you know me?" The oddly colored tom growled slightly threw his teeth. His claws flexed slightly, as he got ready for a sudden attack from the younger she-cat that was before him.

"I am not of EarthClan," Sunset hissed. "Does Sunset sound like a warrior name to you? You are in the High Hills, Thawpelt of SkyClan, and you are to hear whats what. You think that the SkyClan couple that took you in are your parents, don't you? Well, listen close, this grave you are standing on is my mother, Moonrise's, and she used to be known as Mudslide of WaterClan. She mated with Treestar, and with him she had two sons and a daughter. That daughter, obviously, is me. She left one of her sons, Forestfur, with EarthClan, and the other she left with a SkyClan couple, and that other tom, is you. I know that you are thinking that you are much older then this 14 moon she-cat, but Moonrise had you before Forestfur and I. I was just recently reunted with Forestfur, and about a moon before that, with Treestar, and tonight is the anniversery of my mother's death. She must have called you here, to honor her."

Thawpelt's mind was dead right now. That may be the reason why he said these words, "I believe you." Thawpelt turned his dark blue eyes to the stars. "My 'parents' look nothing like me. How had a dark black father, and a white and gray she-cat give birth to a tom with such a odd coat, that has nothing to do with their's? I didn't want to believe that they were not my parents, but it was clear as the moring sun."

"Then you beleave that you are half-WaterClan, half-EarthClan? That your mother became a rouge, and your father, Clan leader? That I, your sister still lives outside of Clan life, whilst your brother is a warrior of EarthClan? AND you know that you should never mention this, not to anyone? Treestar should be coming today, he usually comes the night after the full moon..."

"Why not? You make a good argument." Thawpelt yawned slightly, then let himself lay in some what of a curve around the grave. Maybe.....possilby....everything Sunset had said was possible, and most likely ture.

OOC: Most likely ture?
"I still think that Treestar could have done better," Sunset meowed, doubtfully. "But even Forestfur put up a bigger arguement then this, and I thought that you'd be a bit more headstrong then weak-minded Forestfur..."

OOC: Sorry...I'm not thinking state today..... >_<"
IC: "Better? Well, I would be headstrong right now, but it didn't help me last time. But if that is what you want, you can get it." Thawpelt hissed bitterly to Sunset. His left ear bent back, and pointed to the young cat. His tail twitched slightly, as he tried to fight back his anger.

OOC: Not thinking state?
IC: "Don't get angry at me," Sunset hissed. "I'm a rouge, remember? Everybody kill the rouge! Oh no, she's in our territory! Chase her out and try to bite off her tail! I've gotten tough because of what you call civilized cats."

OOC: Darn, did I do it again?!
IC: Thawpelt whipped up from his spot, and faced Sunset. "You calling us uncivilized?!"

"No, I'd just prefer not to have my tail bitten off every time I want to visit! Honestly, a fourteen moon old she-cat shouldn't pose as any threat! I never take any prey, or do I try to fight. Yet they honestly try to eat me alive! You call that civilized?"

"Well, if we let every cat into our territory, then we may be letting danger just maybe outside our doorsteps! That is not safe for young apprentices of kits! Plus, how can we know you aren't out to kill one of the leaders, and take over! Just looking at someone, doesn't tell you weather or not they have been taking prey, or maybe plotting how to kill the clan!" Thawpelt let his claws flex, though he didn't know why.

"How will some random warrior know that though?" Thawpelt mummbled to Sunset, raising his eyebrow slightly.

"They won't," Sunset mewed, stretching. "But I could tell them if they'd just give me a chance! I'm small, barely older then an average apprentice, underfed, and not battle trained completely! Surely if they just look, they'd see that I am no threat. That mousebrained Foxcloud is the worst one of all of them..."

Thawpelt only shrugged. He couldn't convince his sister, so why waste the energy on it? The tom felt his muscles relax, as the Skyclan warrior took a spot again next to his true mother's grave.
The slim tabby tom raced threw the tall grass, and bumpy hills. His paws pounded with little sound as always. Treestar paused at the foot of a large hill, and turned his yellow-green eyes up. There, he could see two cats. One was Sunset, and the other? Thawpelt? It couldn't be.
