The leader's smile fell to a blank line. His eyes looked at Sunset dumbly. She doesn't get it....Treestar whispered in his head sadly. "Yes, but what would Burningstar say about what you have done? You may not be punished, but Forestfur may be...." Treestar turned to his son, "...I'm surprised that you went into Fireclan territory, young warrior." Treestar's eyebrow was raised questioningly once more.

Sunset looked sadly at her brother. Poor mousebrained Forestfur...
Forestfur looked down at his paws. "They hadn't renewed the scent markings in ages, I couldn't tell that I was crossing the boundary. I thought Sunset was being attacked in our territory..."

IC: Treestar gave a small sigh, and looked into Forestfur's eyes. "I'm sure I can work it out. Burningstar is a good guy! I've known him for moons. I'm sure he will understand." After his words, the Earthclan leader placed his nose on Forestfur's forehead for a bit, then pulled away from the two. "I have to be heading back." Treestar purred, after a glance at the sun. And so, his fast and silent steps took him over the hills, and into Earthclan territory. The leader paused at the forest's edge, and glanced back at his kits, before vanishing into the thick undergrowth.
