Emberpaw's praise warmed him from the inside out, as did the touch of her head against his shoulder as they danced. They moved as one, their whirling dance graceful and full of passion. Any passer by could see that these two cats were deeply in love. Cedarpaw tenderly licked Emberpaw's forehead- how had he ever survived without her? It was all a mystery to him...The grass crunched lightly under their paws, and the birds added their songs to the dance, creating a sweet plaintive melody for the two cats to dance along with. Cedarpaw smiled softly down at the love of his life- with one single paw step into his life, she'd changed him, changed his life. He purred softly...

OOC: Wow, I've missed it here. Sorry I'm replying really late, but hey you know what they say, it's better late than never. The reason I haven't been on lately, was well, because Real Life got in the way for a while. But, I'm back now. I hope Cedarpaw hasn't earned his warrior name yet, because this post would be really awkward. 0.o BIC: EMBERPAW Despite Cedarpaw's assumed ungracefulness, the two cats moved in perfect synch and harmony. They seemed to anticipate each other's next move, and flowed fluidly with it. Not long into their dancing, Emberpaw felt Cedarpaw lick her forehead. She listened as the forset song it's own melody; the birds singing, the reeds and grass rustling in the wind, and the gugling of the river as it flowed past them. Speaking of the river, they better get a move on with the fish. With a reluclant sigh, Emberpaw pulled back from Cedarpaw to end their dance. She licked his muzzle warmly as she said, As much as I would love to spend all day dancing with you, we better get a move on with those fish if we want to hear any good stories! |

(hahaha, nawww he hasn't gotten his warrior name yet~ no worries there! and it would be kinda awkward if he had LOL)
Cedarpaw looked chagrinned. "Yeah...I guess we'd better...But.." He purred and touched noses with her. "You have to promise we'll continue our little dance later~" He smiled warmly. "Pshhhh fish..." A gleam entered his eye. "Well then, shall we say...last one to the lake owes the other a grooming?" Without waiting for her response, he took off, his laughter echoing through the trees. His paws thudded rhythmically against the ground, and the trees merged into a greenish brown blur, the shining waters of the lake sparkling in the near distance. The way the light reflected and moved through the water made him think of Emberpaw's eyes....How they'd glowed as he'd licked her and danced so close to him....His heart fluttered. He would do anything to make her smile, to look at him the way she did in the clearing....
