"Oh, is THAT how it is?" Burning meowed, adopting a hurt look, "You're too busy beating up your poor ol' brother to teach him how to fight better?" He staggered comically. "I'm hurt, I'm really really hurt!"
Starpaw giggled. "Maybe you'd be better off teaching that lump of fur- he'll yowl your ears off if you don't!" She teased, still a small distance away. She didn't want him catching her scent and yowling to the rest of the band that she was Fireclan....

Hiddenpaw rolled her eyes. "Yes indeed. Why would I teach you if that meant you could beat me, hmm?" Her plumy tail flicked in amusement, and she had to hold back a mrrow of amusement. He was hilariously comical.

Burning adopted an even sadder look. "I'm wounded, Hiddenpaw, I really am.. My own sister, too!" He pretended to collapse, sticking his tongue out as if he were dead of sorrow.
"Haha, is he still aliiiiiive? But you've got a point there." Starpaw nodded. "How else will you maintain your superiority if you teach him?" Burning shot her a betrayed gaze, and then stiffened. "Hey, Who's she?" He meowed, looking at Hiddenpaw...

Hiddenpaw instantly knew she had to draw Burning's attention away from Starpaw. "That? That's Starpaw, she's a friend." Hiddenpaw batted at a blade of grass. "Maybe, if you are really lucky and good at begging, I could teach you..."

"But, she smells like-" Hiddenpaw's words cut him off, and he stared questioningly at his sister, but then jumped at her words. "Good at begging? Good at begging. Hiddenpaw, you have GOT to get to know me better." He leapt to his paws, and pounced on the blade of grass she'd been playing with. "I, am the master of begging." He grinned. Starpaw's scent still niggled at his mind, but he pushed it to the back- he'd deal with it later.
Starpaw'd nearly jumped out of her own skin when Burning had started to recognize her scent. She shot Hiddenpaw a grateful look- her quick thinking had saved her. Starpaw slunk back silently into the bushes. Perhaps it was time for her to leave... She wasn't needed here, and her scent was clearly making everyone in the HHB edgy...

Hiddenpaw stared at her brother. "You aren't proving it well. That's bragging, not begging." She flicked her tail slightly, knowing that Starpaw was thinking of leaving. How would she find her way back? All the trees looked the same, and the trail had probably been trampled by now. Unless she had a really good nose...

Burning laughed. "Good one Hiddenpaw. Okay then, let the begging...commence!" He got down on his belly, and looked up at her, his blue eyes wide and innocent. "Hiddenpaw," He meowed his lip wobbling, "Will you pwease.." He let out a fake sniffle. "Pwease teach your wittle brother to fight better? Pweeeeeease?" He gave her kitten eyes...
Starpaw noticed Hiddenpaw's motion for her to stay. But.. How could she? She was just...she sighed and stayed where she was. So far, only Burning had noticed her- that was a relief at least. As long as no other cats noticed her, she'd be fine. But she had to be more careful...

Burning sighed, rolling onto his back. "Ah, the stickler for details...Hm, let me put it this way: In order of birth, I may be older than you dear sister, but when it comes to maturity....I'll leave you to answer that question yourself." He added with a goofy smile. one that revealed his two canine teeth, making him look like a goofy grinned, wide eyed vampire.
Starpaw was rolling on the ground with laughter. Hiddenpaw and Burning were proving to be quite the comical duo- tears streamed down her face as she recalled Burning's face, and Hiddenpaw's 'disdain' for his begging...

Burning made a face at Hiddenpaw. "You stink, dear sister. And, I leave you to pout." He turned his back, and pretended to pout, but his laughter ruined the effect he'd been trying to create. "Hahaha! You got me there Hiddenpaw. Soon I'll have to take witty lessons from you too!" He chuckled..

Hiddenpaw grinned, loving this easy relationship. It was like they had known each other forever, and she absolutely adored the simple feel. "Indeed you will," she agreed, serious as can be. "Perhaps I should start you with a simple move. The roll under-over is very advanced."

Burning swatted Hiddenpaw. "Hey!" He protested, but the grin on his face told her he knew she was teasing. "Are you implying, that I'm dim witted? Oh-ho-ho... You'll pay for that sissy!" He narrowed his eyes. "And I'd give you a thrashing, but... I think I'll let you off easy, seeing as I'm kind and gentle of heart, and quick to forgive my sister her trespasses.." He looked up towards the sky, looking very pious.
Starpaw's laughter could be heard from the bushes- it hadn't stopped for long minutes now. STarpaw could feel the ache in her ribs, but she couldn't help it- they were so comical!

Hiddenpaw laughed, trying to cover up the sound of Starpaw's giggles. "Oh you'd give me a thrashing? I've already beat you once dear one, and you're asking for lessons! I don't believe that the 'thrashing' would be very thorough." She wrapped her tail around her paws in false disdain and haughtiness.
Sunset glanced at the bush where the laughter was coming from. Something was strange here...

Burning sniffed. "I just let you win. You know, as a.." he waved his paw, trying to find the right answer. "As a way to formerly welcome you back to this family." He meowed, his lips twitching as he forced himself to remain serious. "Isn't that right Mom?" he called as Sunset appeared- she'd been quiet for sometime now.
Starpaw's giggles, though still present, were subsiding now, but tears continued to stream down her face. "Aha...wheww.. ahahahaa...." She lay flat on the ground, exhausted from laughing, and unaware of her peril...

Hiddenpaw turned a quizzical look on her brother. "Let me win, huh? So you say you can topple me, right here, right now, and that I could not do the same for you?" Her claws sunk into the ground, just in case her brother decided to try. "Come on, your training not heavy on battle maneuvers?"
Sunset flicked her ears as the scent reached her nose. FireClan. "Hiddenpaw, who is that laughing in the bush?"

"Oooh, the beginnings of a tyrant!" Burning moaned, making a face. "My own sister no less..." He brightened. "Of course I'm teasing, as always~" he said, in a sing songy voice. "Does this mean that you'll come visit me?" He added, pleading. His blue eyes sparkled with happiness- she'd admitted that she liked having him as a brother. He couldn't help but wiggle his tail, pleased.
Starpaw's eyes widened. Hiddenpaw was covering for her, but.. it wouldn't be enough- they were onto her! She squeezed her eyes shut, and took a deep breath- she couldn't let Hiddenpaw get in trouble. She stood up, hoping that the she cat wouldn't attack her as her scent drifted towards her....With all that had happened to them as a result of Fireclan, Starpaw knew there was always the possibility that they might see her as a spy....
"Hi" She meowed, wondering what to expect...

Hiddenpaw looked over her brother as if appraising his worth. She blinked haughtily, the very air about her seeming snooty. But a thin smile played around her lips. It was fun, playing with the older brother.
Waving her tail in a give-or-take motion, Hiddenpaw merely mewed, "Perhaps," before turning her attention to Starpaw and Sunset, worry gnawing at her belly.
Sunset fought to keep her hackles down when they so terribly wanted to raise. She blinked slowly. "Hello, and you are?"
