Hiddenpaw nodded and stared out at the camp. They would come this way, she was sure of it. Sniffing in deeply, she realized that they were still in the camp, but leaving quickly. So she sat. A few more minutes perhaps.
Glancing up at the moon, Hiddenpaw felt at home. She loved the moon and hated when the clouds took it from her. Even the trees seemed against her in that respect. She felt a strange longing for the hills, hardly any trees, just open space, the moon there to see on any clear night. She blinked slightly away from the idea.
OOC: lol, her warrior name is going to be Hiddenmoon. I haven't decided if she is going to stay in EarthClan or go to the HHB. If she left, she would have already been a warrior for a few moons and then she would probably change her name to Moon. I'm not sure.

(ooooh, that's a beautiful name ^^ and I'll be watching Hiddenpaw then ^^ I'd love to see what happens!)
Starpaw sat down next to Hiddenpaw. "You like the moon huh?" She meowed with a smile as she craned her neck to look at the glowing orb in the sky. "It is very pretty...Too bad you can't see it too well here. Me, I love the stars- they're so small, but so determined not to let the moon outshine them. It... kind of encourages me." She added. The air was warm, and trees rustled slightly in the gentle night breeze. Starpaw smiled. It was so peaceful here...But...How long would it stay that way? "Are they coming soon?" She meowed, stopping as a noise attracted her attention. "Was that them?"

Without once glancing down, Hiddenpaw shook her head. "They're coming at us from the other direction," she said softly, drinking in the sight of the brilliant glowing orb. It brought her peace, like the Moonrise Star did. She absentmindedly licked her paw, twitching her ears at the sound of approaching pawsteps. They were coming up fast.
Sunset radiated calm as she led the band down through the forest. They were heading toward the edge of the territory before she, Skywalker, and Courage left for SkyClan. Breathing in deeply, her eyes opened wide in surprise.

Courage could sense Sunset's suprise, and immediately wondered what could be wrong. He started to say something, but then fell silent. Sunset wouldn't appreciate his meddling- if she needed him, she'd tell him. He waited...
Burning followed Sunset, a little tired, but glowing. He'd had so much fun talking with his cousin, Songpaw, and meeting his uncle and aunt. The gentle breeze brought with it a scent...Hiddenpaw!! Burning shot away, looking for his sister...
Starpaw's eyes widened. So this was Hiddenpaw's family? She yelped as a ginger cat, so like the she cat leader, darted towards them. She ducked down,remembering Hiddenpaw's warning. The wind was blowing away from them, so for all she knew, this could be the she cat Bird...

Hiddenpaw fixed her gaze directly on her brother. "Burning, if you pounce on me, you will find that I am not just a pretty face." Her words were cold, but there was some laughter under them. This was her older brother. She couldn't help but want to giggle.
Sunset waved her tail irritably at her band. She knew that Courage was trying not to meddle. "Meddle all you want." she sighed. "Doesn't really matter."

"No, I was just curious as to what you'd smelled, but I can already guess." Courage mrrowed, a hint of laughter in his voice. "Burning's reaction can only mean one thing." He sat down and began grooming himself. It might be awhile, he thought.
Burning ignored Hiddenpaw's words." Too late!" He crowed, already airborne. He landed squarely on Hiddenpaw's shoulders and pushed his face right up to hers. "Gotcha!"
Starpaw couldn't help herself. She laughed. "Gee, is that your brother? He's pretty.....exciteable?"

Hiddenpaw heaved upward, trying to throw Burning off. "You really wanna see?" she hissed playfully. Somehow this just seemed right, this fake scuffle. It felt like something she had missed, something precious and just natural.
Sunset nodded slightly. "Hiddenpaw! What are you doing?"

Burning grinned, but his smile turned to a yelp as she launched him into the air. "Oh yeah?" He meowed. "I'm sooo gonna win!" He teased, throwing his weight forward so he'd land behind Hiddenpaw. He whirled to face her, his blue eyes alight with a challenge...
Starpaw grinned. So this is what siblings did- play fought. Hiddenpaw looked pretty excited about it. Starpaw would have too, if she had siblings and been reunited with them. She found herself cheering on Hiddenpaw...

With a flick of her ears, Hiddenpaw ignored her mother's words. She started circling her brother, paws kneading the ground in anticipation. "Bring it," she laughed, bright blue eyes alight. "If you dare!"
Sunset shook her head angrily. "Hiddenpaw, why are you not in your camp?" she shook with a mother's worry. FireClan scent was in the air. Just where...

"Oh, I dare!" Burning meowed, his eyes narrowed playfully. He darted at her, like a blaze of fire, and whirled around her in a tight quick circle, trying to dizzy her. He grinned to himself and then stopped himself in the blink of an eye and lashed out with a velveted paw...
C'mon Hiddenpaw, Starpaw thought to herself, beat him! She crept forward slightly- she wanted to get a better view of this battle! She held her breath as the tom's forepaw sliced through the air- what would Hiddenpaw do?

Hiddenpaw pointedly ignored her mother's inquiry and stared at one spot. She knew better than to follow Burning's trail, it was a move that Flashpaw often tried on her. As her brother stopped, she lashed out a paw and stopped his before he could topple her. Then she leaped into a tree, staring down at her brother. He was used to hills, not trees.

Burning let out a surprised "Ooph!" and landed on his backside with a grunt. He grinned up at her, and got to his paws. Uh oh...trees. He'd never had to deal with trees...His eyes scanned the tree Hiddenpaw was in, and the ground around it, looking for some sort of ground he could use to his advantage. Hmm...He couldn't climb the tree- Hiddenpaw would be on him faster than he could say mouse. His mind worked faster..Aha, that patch of tall grass could work well. He'd been trained in the art of secrecy, and the grass on the hills was as long as this. Not to mention there was plenty of room- so Hiddenpaw would have to guess and land- and most likely miss him.
"C'mon Hiddenpaw! Get him!" Starpaw cheered, unable to keep silent any longer. Her snowy head popped up from the bush she'd been hiding in her silver and blue eyes shining with anticipation. "C'mon get him get him!!!"

Hiddenpaw watched as her brother vanished in a clump of grass. Her ears twitched. Tricky. That was a big clump. Her tail flicked back and forth and her blue eyes stared at the grass intently. Just the slightest movement... There! The grass quivered slightly. She leaped...

Burning grinned. His ruse had worked. Thank you Bird! He thought, grinning at the memory of her teaching him how to make a patch of grass rustle with the use of a pebble. He sprang forward, forepaws outstretched and ready to bowl Hiddenpaw over..
(Hiddenpaw should probably win, you think? ^^ He's just not making it easy ^^)

It quickly became obvious that she had been tricked. Hiddenpaw got a pawful of dirt. She whipped around, hearing the yowl, and launched herself into the air. Paws outstretched, she leaned toward Burning's back...

Burning grunted as Hiddenpaw landed on his back. Quickly, he dropped to his side, and rolled- She'd have to move fast to get off, or risk getting squashed. Burning was a little bigger than her, but not by much, still that little extra weight might make a difference in whether or not she decided to move or stick around....
Starpaw grinned. "Yeah, Hiddenpaw, show him what a warrior can do!" She yowled standing on her tippy toes to see.. The grass was really long there. She squinted, trying to see...

Hiddenpaw winced as Burning rolled onto her, but refused to let go. Instead she slid under him while he was still on his back and, quick as a wink, was on top of his belly, one gray-and-white-and-black paw planted under his chin, another on his belly. "Do you surrender?" she asked, eyes sparkling.

"Hey, how'd you do that?" He meowed, not even disappointed that he'd lost. "C'mon lemme up, I surrender already. I know when I'm beat." He purred, eyes shining. "That was a great fight!" He shook his fur, shedding dust and leaves from his fiery pelt. He sneezed and bounded out of the dust cloud. "Wow, those were some amazing moves, sis! You haaave to teach me how you fight like that! Pleeeeaase?"

Hiddenpaw just let the grass and leaves stay in her fur. They were a part of her. "And when would I have time to teach you?" she asked, blue eyes innocent. "I'm busy if you hadn't noticed..." She glanced around, laughter shining in her face.
