Lakeripple let out a musical purr, looking fondly at her adopted daughter. She thought of the entire Clan as her kits, not just those that were and those that she had "adopted", but she was still closer to her actual family. "Yes Fuzeshock, so I have heard"

Wolfstorm sat next to Fuzeshock, her joy evident on her face. How could she be otherwise? Her mother and her love were with her- and family was the best thing of all. She pressed her fur against Fuzeshock's, a silent way to say 'I love you.' She could sense his discomfort- he probably hadn't had wet paws since he lived here. She shook her head, smiling. Her smile faded as she remembered thier reason for being here. "What do you think Froststar has in mind? You know...for this...chance?"

Fuzeshock heated up slightly from Lakeripples words. "Right. Sorry. I didnt know that." Ugh, i sound so stupid. Froststar is probaly just thinking about doing something that only a cat with sight can do. Fear was slowly creaping up his spine, and gripping his heart. The darkness seemed to start to slowly swallow him whole. Taking him further and further from the light . . .
And then the soft, comforting pelt of Wolfstorm was next to him. Pulling him out of his darkness. It slowly moving away with new hope. He smiles happily, feeling more confidient. "Well, whatever it is ill handle. I can do this. I promise." His mind was set. He didnt want to loose easily. He would give it his all, not give up just like that. This is for Wolfstorm and Toxicfang. They believe in me, so i have to believe in myself!!

Lakeripple shrugged. "I don't know, she was still thinking about it when she left this morning. Probably a quick spar and hunt. She isn't unfair." Wrapping her plumy tail around her paws, Lakeripple glanced at the tunnel. "She should be back very soon, and then you'll find out."

"Yes, Froststar is one of the fairest cats in Waterclan, other than you Lakeripple." Wolfstorm meowed, not a trace of flattery in her voice. She sincerely meant it. "And I know you'll do your best Fuzeshock, and that's all that matters, you know that right?" She purred, leaning contentedly against him. His frame, though lean, was as sturdy as an oak. She purred quietly...
(should we wait for Flamey now?)
