OCC: Okay, Lol! BIC: EMBERPAW It felt like at any moment that Emberpaw's heart would leap out of her chest, and sprint to the lake and back when Cedarpaw touched his tail to her's and gazed into her eyes. Emberpaw took another deep breath and twined her tail with Cedarpaw's. She was so nervous of Cedarpaw's reaction that her paws were shaking a little, but instead of looking at the tom, she bent her head and took a bite of the fish instead. She doesn't even know why she bothered, she didn't feel hungry anymore for her stomach seemed to be full of nothing but butterflies. |

Cedarpaw's tail curled protectively and tenderly around hers. He watched as she gracefully took a bite of the fish. All thoughts of hunger fled from his mind- there was no room after the happiness that threatened to envelop him! He leaned over to Emberpaw. "Emberpaw..." He whispered. "I...I think I'm in love with you." He admitted, being brutally honest and ignoring his shyness....

EMBERPAW Emberpaw paused mid-chew, and swung her head around to look at Cedarpaw. Happiness and disbelief were coursing through her, along with a lot of other emotions that she couldn't name. But there was one other that she could name, and that was love. Her world finally felt right, Cedarpaw had undoubtfully became the center of her world. She quickly swallowed her bite of fish so she could reply, she has been quiet for a little too long and she didn't want him to think that she didn't feel the same way. She scooted closer until their flanks were touching, and rubbed her face lovingly against his. I think....no I know that I'm in love with you too Cedarpaw. Emberpaw's heart was beating happily in her chest, and with each beat Cedarpaw's name resonated inside her head. Tha-thump, tha-thump, tha-thump.......Cedarpaw, Cedarpaw, Cedarpaw........ |

Cedarpaw purred loudly, burying his head in her sweet smelling fur. He couldn't believe his ears....She...She loved him back? He felt giddy with joy. He lifted his head, and looked once more in her eyes, those eyes that so captivated him. "Emberpaw....You are definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. Ever...There's simply no words strong enough to tell you how much, how much I love you..." He licked her forehead tenderly, lovingly. He'd found his life's partner...He felt complete, like he'd been missing half his self before he'd found Emberpaw...but now, he was one...

EMBERPAW Emberpaw felt unadulterated love and joy at Cedarpaw's words. She just felt so happy and so complete! She honestly believed that Cedarpaw was her soulmate. You are above and beyond the best thing that has ever came into my life Cedarpaw. I...I didn't think that I would ever find a mate within the Clan with how much the other apprentices pick on me. But all of those doubts are wiped away now.. She lick his cheek warmly, staring at him with nothing but love and adortion in her eyes.OOC: Now I'm starting to wonder what Hollypaw and Crowpaw are doing while all of this is going on, lol! |

Crowpaw's eyes widened. This was the sappiest thing he'd ever seen! it was enough to make a grown cat barf, not to mention an apprentice. Thoroughly grossed out, and completely immature, Crowpaw slunk away... (XD) Hollypaw snickered quietly at Crowpaw's reaction. He'd change his tune one day. That was certain. Hollypaw purred softly. So Cedarpaw and Emberpaw finally admitted to each other that they had feelings. She smiled. Well good for them. They would have a long life ahead of them, and a good one if they were in each others lives like this. She smiled, and crept away to give them some privacy...
Cedarpaw's eyes widened. "How could they pick on you?" He meowed, his eyes narrowing. "And it's their loss, Emberpaw.. Thier loss for not getting to know what a special and wonderful cat you are. You're the most graceful she cat. You danced your way into my heart, you know that?" He closed his eyes, his cheek gently against hers, her heart beating in time with his. He could sit here forever, just listening to the sound of her heart, the sound of her purr...

EMBERPAW Emberpaw felt anger and bitterness as she thought of the other apprentices. But those emotions didn't last long. How could they when she was with Cedarpaw? Everything just seemed right and good whenever she was with the tom. They pick on me because of my small size. And if it was even possible, she pressed herself even closer to Cedarpaw as she said the last part. No, I didn't know that I danced my way into your hear, and I honestly don't know how. But I'm glad that I did. |

"Let's see who'll be laughing after you dance your way around them, and beat them," He meowed, his eyes still a little angry. But...He'd deal with them later, if they decided to do any more teasing, that was for sure. "Me too," he meowed, gently grooming Emberpaw's fiery fur, "Me too.." The air was filled with the sound of his purring.

EMBERPAW Emberpaw didn't know what to say to that, so she didn't say anything. She closed her eyes in content, and she started purring herself. Her purr mixed with Cedarpaw's, making a beautiful symphony. Pretty soon, she manuvered around so she could groom Cedarpaw's fur, careful not to dislodge him. |
