Hollypaw swam to shore. "They're on the bank, over here. I put them in the shade. They'll last longer that way, "She called over her shoulder. Cedarpaw shrugged and then smiled at Emberpaw. "Shall we go and become fish bearers for Hollypaw?" He chuckled quietly and started swimming after his friend...

"You got that right!" Hollypaw meowed, nodding, and joining in the fun. " I am the Great One, don't forget that oh underlings! Now, fetch my food and be quick about it." she stuck her nose up in the air.
Cedarpaw grinned. "Yeah oh royal one? We your underlings shall over throw you!" He leapt at Hollypaw and began tickling her with his paws...

"Aug- nooo! Ahahahahahahaha!!" Hollypaw rolled on the ground, tears streaming down her face from laughing so hard. Cedarpaw grinned. "That's what you get for being so snotty oh your royal highness!" He mrrowed with laughter, his eyes shining at Emberpaw. "Now," He meowed, adopting a serious, deep voice, "Admit that you are no longer ruler, and we may be lenient.... What say you, Ember...Emberflare?" Cedarpaw meowed, making up a random warrior's name as he turned to the beautiful she cat. "Or is there something else we should demand?" The corner of his lips twitched, a smile threatened to break out ....

EMBERPAW Emberpaw's eyes were shining back at Cedarpaw as she replied. Her heart skipped a beat when his voice went deeper, he just sounded do handsome. No doubt, when he was older he would be attracting a lot of she-cats. Emberpaw felt jealoust shoot through her, but she quickly shook it off. I agree Cedar.....dusk! But I think that we should also demand a share of the fish! |

Cedarpaw nodded, secretly pleased with the name she chose for him. "Ah, excellent point Emberflare! You shall give us some of the fish! Now, do you agree??" He meowed, still tickling Hollypaw. Hollypaw nodded wildly, desperate to breathe. "Ahahaha, -ye-es! I-ahaha agreeeheehee!"

As Hollypaw wheezed on the ground, trying to regain her breath, Cedarpaw skipped over to the cache of fish, and scooped up a couple in his jaws, plopping them down by Emberpaw and Hollypaw before returning and grabbing the others. Though he acted like his attention was on the fish, the silvery tom's eyes kept straying back to Emberpaw's fiery pelt, and the way it flamed in the sunlight, like a living tongue of fire. How was it, that Emberpaw had penetrated his heart, and suddenly become so dear to him? It wasn't just her physical beauty; her personality, her gentleness, wit, and the way she smiled had captivated him. She was everything he wanted in a she cat....Similar thoughts bombarded his mind as he and the two she cats padded back to the camp. He was glad for thier hunting session tomorrow...Everything seemed more alive and real when he was in her presence...
Hollypaw groaned, rubbing her aching sides with a paw before scooping up two fish that Cedarpaw had retrived for them. He couldn't carry them all, tom though he was. "Maaan, that's low. reeeaaallly low." she mrrowed, a grin lighting her features. "So that's how you defeat a warrior? by using such cheating tactics?"

EMBERPAW Of course! That's one of the best battle tactics ever though of. In fact, I'll be sure to use it in the upcoming battle! Emberpaw picked up her share of fish as soon she was done speaking. When they setted off, she quickly settled for a spot between Cedarpaw and Hollypaw. If it was any other apprentice, Emberpaw probaly would have let Hollypaw have the middle. But Cedarpaw was different, and Emberpaw liked him a lot, actually, she liked him more than a lot. And it was more than just his rippling muscles and broad shoulders that she was looking at. He had a kind personality, he was playful, caring and loyal. There was a whole list that Emberpaw could go on about the tom. She tried catching glances of him, but everytime she looked up he would always seem to be watching her, which would cause her to shyly look down. |

(LOLZ heehee, they're so funny, I feel sorry for them, so shy and embarrassed little kitties XD)
"Hey, that's an impressive load of fish the three of you've caught." A warm voice called out, interrupting Cedarpaw's day dreams. He looked up. "Whuu?" He meowed through the fish in his mouth. Hollypaw turned too, confusion in her eyes.
"Oh, Wolfstorm, it's just you!" Hollypaw purred. "Yeah, the fish were pretty cooperative today, surprisingly enough." She replied.
"Mind if I walk back with you three? I've got to pick up my own freshkill on the way back, and we're almost back, so I won't bother you for too long. You look like you're pretty busy."

EMBERPAW Emberpaw was startled out of her thoughts of Cedarpaw from Wolftstorm's voice. She gave a simple flick of her tail to indicate that she didn't mind the young warrior's company. Emberpaw took a step closer to Cedarpaw, to be sure that she wouldn't be seperated from his side when Wolftstorm joined them. |

Cedarpaw wanted to purr out loud when Emberpaw stepped closer to him. Could it...his heart filled with hope. Perhaps ...he scarcely dared let himself think the thought- could she possibly like him back? His eyes shone brightly at the promise, and his heart fluttered as she came closer, his pelt accidentally brushing up against hers...Tomorrow. He couldn't hide this any longer! He had to tell her....Tommorrow he'd tell her how he felt, he thought resolutely.
Wolfstorm noticed the two young cats, and the look on Cedarpaw's face. Were they in love? She smiled. It was a wonderful feeling, love. So warm, so tender and wonderful....She thought of her own love and wondered what he was doing at that very moment..
"Why's everyone so quiet?" Hollypaw meowed at last, feeling like she was going to be left behind....Everyone else was starting to find special ones, but she...she seemed destinted to always be left behind. She shrugged ,trying to hide that. She'd be patient. "Oh look, there's the camp!" She meowed with a genuine smile. "Perhaps it's time for sharing tongues and we can get a rest?"

EMBERPAW Emberpaw's breath caught in her throat as her fur accidentally brushed against Cedarpaw's. She looked to him to see what his reaction would be, but once she did she couldn't look away. His eyes were shining, but not shining as in he was happy, but shining towards her. And in them, there was a certain look. It looked like they were shining with adortion....no, wait it looked like it was more than adortion. It looked like.....looked like....but Emberpaw never found out what it was for hollypaw's voice interrupted her reverie. Emberpaw's heart skipped a beat at the though of sharing tongues with Cedarpaw. And as for her answer of what could be shining in Cedarpaw's eyes, the answer was gone like leaves in the wind with her more distracting thoughts. |

"Ooh, sharing tongues.." Wolfstorm murmured. "I could use that. It's been a long day." She meowed, her head lowered in tiredness. She'd been working hard all day, and she'd even managed to sneak time in to see Fuzeshock. She smiled wearily at the apprentices. "I'll talk to you later okay?" She slunk away..
"I wonder what was the matter with Wolfstorm." Cedarpaw meowed, "She looks like something the cat dragged in. Oh wait, she is a cat." He mrrowed, grinning at his own joke. "Do you wanna share tongues with me, Hollypaw, and Crowpaw?" He meowed, making sure he added the rest of the cats, though he secretly hoped that they could share tongues together...

OOC: *pets Hollypaw* It's ok Hollypaw, it's not like you can read Emberpaw's thoughts, lol. Thanks!=] BIC: EMBERPAW Emberpaw mrrowed along with Cedarpaw at his little joke. She felt like running around like a kit offerd their first time to be out of camp when Cedarpaw asked her to share tongues with them. But she was able to stay composed as she put her fish down to answer. I would love to! She meowed excitedly, just because she was able to stay composed doesn't mean that she could keep the excitement out of her voice. She only felt a small stab of regret that she wouldn't be alone with Cedarpaw, but it wasn't enough to override her excitement. |

"Good!" Cedarpaw meowed. "C'mon, I'll show you where we apprentices usually sit. Where we sit I mean!" He meowed, flicking her shoulder with his tail. Hollypaw surged ahead, dropping her fish on the freshkill pile. Cedarpaw had already done so, and padded a head. Soon, Crowpaw came into view.
"Mistpaw's not here. Nor's Birchpaw." He meowed, disappointed. Cedarpaw shrugged. "Perhaps they're late? You know them, always late. I wonder who they take after? More likely dad. Oh, Crowpaw, have you met Emberpaw?" The fluffy grey and brown tom nodded. "She's a new apprentice, but she's already pretty skilled. "Cedarpaw meowed with a smile. "She gave me the best battle I've had since I fought you!" Crowpaw looked impressed. "Wow. Nice Emberpaw." He meowed, moving over to give Cedarpaw, Hollypaw, and Emberpaw room. Cedarpaw circled his spot three times, and then laid down. Hollypaw unobtrusively moved to Crowpaw's side; She'd be willing to bet that Cedarpaw wanted to share tongues with Emberpaw...

EMBERPAW Emberpaw followed Cedarpaw and Hollypaw to the fresh-kill pile. And like them, she quickly deposited almost all of her catch, but kept a plump fish for herself. She was a little shy as Crowpaw came up, and gave a quiet mew of thanks for his compliment. She then followed the others as they went to the spot where they usually ate at. She watched as Hollypaw settled next to Crowpaw, meaning that she would be sitting with Cedarpaw. Her heart was beating so wildly in her chest as she settled down next to Cedarpaw, that she was sure the whole forest could hear it. She took a deep breath to prevent herself from hyperventalating as she asked, Do you want to share? Emberpaw put her paw on the fish, indicating that that's what she meant. |

"Really?" Cedapaw meowed, a little surprised. "I'd love that!" He meowed, smiling. He scooted closer, so he could easily take a bite of the fat fish, but waited for her to take the first bite. Would his heart ever stay still? He rested his tail on hers, and looked into her eyes, those wonderful pools that he could get lost in...
(lol I'm not gonna rp the others at the moment. Let's just say they're sharing tongues...)
