Wolfstorm paced in front of the warriors den, wondering where Toxicfang was. She'd gotten back late from her outing with Nightpaw; Wolfstorm sensed that something exciting had happened to the tom, and they'd celebrated together. Perhaps he'd been given his name? Wolfstorm could only guess, and wait for Toxicfang. But that was not what was on her mind; she and Toxicfang had agreed to corner Froststar and ask her about readmitting Fuzepaw back to his old clan and to see if she'd give the blind tom his rightful earned status as a warrior after he'd been given his warrior name. His exile to the elder's den had been what drove him away in the first place, Wolfstorm remembered. She desperately hoped it wouldn't be the same this time....

Toxicfang ran up to Wolfstorm. "Have you spotted Froststar yet?" Her eyes looked around the camp anxiously.
OOC: wow, how lame my post is to yours! and we have to make sure to tell the person who plays Froststar joins in!

(ahaha, that's okay! ^^ I was just writing for the fun of it, yay for writing stuff! XD Yuppers- that'd be Rosefeather/Flamey! ^^)
Wolfstorm let out a sigh of relief as Toxicfang appeared. "No, I haven't seen her," she replied, reading her friend's lips, a skill she'd managed to almost perfect. "She mighr be out training with Crowpaw...But I'm not sure..." The silver tabby bit her lip, thoughtfully and nervously. "I just hope things work out.." she mewed..

Toxicfang sighs. "Well, maybe we should wait for her to return or whatever?" She sat down, noticing that Wolfstorm was getting better at reading lips. She could speak at normal speed now.

Wolfstorm nodded, her ears giving away her slight annoyance. "Yes, let's. We'll just be going in circles if we tried to find her- that always happens, but if we stay here, we're more likely to find her..." She mused, grinning at the thought of going in circles. Then the seriousness of the situation caught her again..

The sleek grey she-cat padded slowly through her camp. If anything, Froststar was exausted. Physically, the leader was in her prime, mentally, she felt older than the forest itself. Indeed, her deputy took a lot of stress off Froststar, but this small group she allowed in her territory was causing her trouble. Sudddenly, her sparkling blue eyes caught two of her warriors looking around.

Lavender eyes caught hold of Froststar. Toxicfang poked Wolfstorm in the side, and pointed over at their leader. She then walked over, dipping her head in a sign of respect. "Hello, Froststar." She looks up at her, eyes shining brightly. "Wolfstorm and i have to ask you something, if you have time to spare."

Wolfstorm yelped as Toxicfang prodded her her paw hitting her ribs. She glared at her friend for a moment, but her annoyance evaporated at the sight of Froststar. She saw Toxicfang speak, and then jumped in. "Yeah. We were wondering....could..." She fidgeted wondering how to ask such a delicate question. Finally, the best she could come up with was, "Do you remember Toxicfang's brother, Fuzepaw? He was once in Waterclan, but left because he was sent to the elder's den for being blind...Could....Could he come back? And could he become the warrior he is fit to be? His blindness is no handicap to his becoming a warrior; he's probably better than many." Her voice wavered a bit, pleading. Her amethyst eyes met Froststar's blue ones...

The leader was taken by surprise by her warrior's request, but by the end, she mrrowed. "Wolfstorm, I understand how you might be worried, but I cannot determine the status of his worthyness by your word alone. If Fuzepaw truly wishes to become a warrior of WaterClan, I'll allow him one chance to prove it. Thats one chance. I cannot garrantee anything however. In this time of war, a blind cat becomes a handicap for the entire Clan. How could he warn his Clan mates if another warrior was leaping out at them?" She didn't wait for an answer, but took a breath. "Bring him to me tomorrow morning, then I'll decide."

"He'd never be a handicap," Wolfstorm meowed. "He'd hear that cat before- his senses are sharpened because of his blindness- the loss of one sense often heightens the others...or-r so I've heard." She added, trying to get away from the fact that she knew that because she herself was missing one sense- and every other sense was heightened to make up for the missing one. She looked hopeful- Froststar was offering him a chance. "I'll bring him tomorrow, and he won't disappoint you," she promised. how could he? He was perfect in her eyes..

Froststar reframed from snarling at Wolfstorm. How would he hear Silentrun? She thought to herself. Instead, the leader nodded.

Wolfstorm smiled, unaware of Froststar's thoughts and her anger. "Thanks so much Froststar!" She meowed, eyes alight. She dipped her head respectfully and then shouldered Toxicfang, padding towards the entrance of the camp..

Toxicfang remainded silent the whole time. She stared back and forth from her leader to her friend. But, can Fuzepaw pull it off? I mean, i know that his other senses are heightened. Heightened greatly. But, what if he doesnt hear or smell anyone coming? Then what? Froststar might just send him away or back to the Elders den. He might run away for good if this happens. She slightly hung her head, her thoughts jumbling with each other. "Fuzepaw . . ."

Wolfstorm would have missed the small sigh of a name had she not been looking at Toxicfang's face at that exact moment. Her forehead creased as she frowned in confusion. "What's the matter Toxicfang?" she meowed. "Aren't you happy she's given him this chance?"

Wolfstorm charged out of the camp, grinning widely, unaware of Toxicfang's reservations. She couldn't believe it- Froststar had agreed to give him a chance! She felt like she was floating on air..

Toxicfang shook her pelt out. She just felt like ridding herself of those sad thoughts. No, now its time for happiness. Froststar is giving him a chance! She smiles happily. "Im so happy!" she whispers
