OOC- I was bored so I decided to make a thread with Smallkit =/ I dunno...lol

Smallkit was pouncing on leaves, boredly. She didn't even notice that she strayed into Fireclan territory, never-the-less where most of her kit hood was. It only had taken about a moon to let Smallkit forget small bits of her family; including on waiting for her mother and father to get back. She just kept pouncing on the red and brown leaves happily, glad she escaped the eyes of Winterpaw.

OOC- This reminds me that someone still needs to adopt Stormwhistler since Kiba is gone

By the way - in cause the replier doesn't know - Smallkit is from Skyclan, her mother is dead and her father who is from Fireclan is still alive who is Stormwhistler. So yeah........that's a full re-cap

Starpaw crouched down, and sprang at the mouse nibbling seeds. She'd almost caught it when Smallkit's playing alerted it, and it darted away to the safety of it's hole. "Rats!" Starpaw hissed, looking cross. "That was a really fat juicy one too! Me and m-" Starpaw's rants to herself stopped as she saw the source of the noise- a skyclan intruder from the scent of her. The white apprentice started to growl, but then realized with shock that it was just a kit. A kit, wandering alone? There was something wrong with that picture...Starpaw watched the kit with curious eyes, before padding over. "Who are you? What are you doing on Fireclan territory?" She meowed in a not unfriendly tone...

Catching leaves. . . building. Smallkit whispered as if it was so important to collect all the red leaves. It seemed as if Starpaw's tone didn't effect her. Smallkit jumped on a red leaf, somewhat sliding down a very small hill. she fell, the leave landing on top of her covering Smallkit completely. I'm so small... Smallkit thought.

OOC: POOF *Snowstep pops out of nowhere*


IC: Burningstar's ears flickered when her heard a noise, then a loud rustle in the leaves. A small fluffy thing rolled into the pile of fresh leaves on the ground. "What's this? Prey rolling into my paws?" the FireClan leader chuckled and bent down to see what landed between his dark ginger paws. It was a tiny kit, with the strong scent of SkyClan.

"Starpaw?" he scented the FireClan apprentice nearby as well, and motioned for her to come over. "What's this?" he asked, a shine of amusement shining from his amber eyes.

Smallkit popped her head from under the leaf, her grey eyes wide in curiosity, Hello! she said in a peppy voice crawling out on the leaf sitting on it, making sure it didn't move.

IC: Burningstar couldn't help by smile at the brave little kit. Even as a leader, he adored kits. "Hello to you too, little one. What are you wandering around the forest for? Your mother would be missing you in Skyclan, wouldn't she?"

"Hi Burningstar..." Starpaw meowed, "I found her just wandering here...Skyclan lets their kits just wander around?" she meowed in surprise.

Smallkit stared at the leader and apprentice for a few moments, gears clicking in her head. Finally she remembered, I'm waiting for her to come home! Smallkit squeaked, Same with dad..they should be here by now... she whispered looking around at the tree, Don't tell anyone that you come here, okay? her mother and father's voices played in Smallkit's head, Okay.. she thought.

"Your parents are coming to get you? From Skyclan?" Starpaw meowed. "We can stay with you until they come, right Burningstar?" The apprentice meowed. "maybe..." she said hesitatingly, wondering if it was allowed. "I can play with you?"

Yes. They're coming. Smallkit said with a smile, deciding not to add the fact that they had been gone for some moons now. She looked up at Burningstar, May I? Smallkit asked; she didn't know however that cats from separate clans played together however.

Starpaw turned to Burningstar, a trying to keep her face neutral, but failing. She'd like to play- it'd been a long time since she'd interacted with other apprentices- they were all too busy it seemed..

Burningstar thingyed his head in wonder at the small kit. Her parent's? He was sure that if they were in Skyclan, having a kit in Fireclan would end up in a fight, with the condition the clans are in right now. But somehow, he didn't think that they would be coming. It sounded as if something else was up...

"Sure, Starpaw. You've been training hard anyways, so you can have some fun," he purred a reply to the apprentice, his piercing eyes still on the kit. What is her story? he wondered.

"Thanks Burningstar!" Starpaw meowed, eyes alight. "Hey, what's your name? And do you wanna play a game of hide and seek?"

Smallkit smiled, Thank you. she said putting her head down, and then looked at Starpaw, I think it would be obvious...My name is Smallkit. she said happily, And yes.

"Well," Starpaw agreed. "It does fit you very well. You are the smallest kit I've ever seen! But hey, small isn't bad, you'll be able to outmanuever other cats, and fit into smaller spaces than normal cats! Okay! I'll be the seeker first, unless you want to!" Starpaw purred, her bi colored eyes shining brightly. "Hey, do you want to play too Burningstar?"

Burningstar shook his head and made himself comfortable in the pile of leaves Smallkit was wandering about. "No, you go on," he purred, wrapping his tail over his dark ginger paws. He twitched his whiskers in amusement. It's been a while since he's had alone time from dealing with the clan problems, and it was nice to just enjoy the day. It wasn't since he was small that he was so carefree... sometimes, the burdens of a leader made him remember the days when he was a kit.

Starpaw shrugged. "Okay, then. Ready smallkit?" She called out, smiling. Burningstar probably had other things to think about- or maybe he just wanted to rest. Starpaw smiled to herself at the thought of a leader playing like a kit.

Okay! Smallkit pipped, her four paws in constant movement, she couldn't take her eyes off of Starpaw's multi-colored ones, Woah... she thought in awe.

Starpaw grinned at the kit. "Okay, I'll count to ten! One.....Two....Three..." Starpaw counted slowly, her eyes closed but ears swivelling to track every sound...
