ooc: This be for any member of the Lakeripple/Eagletalon clan, aka Lakeagle Clan

Eagletalon sat in the soft grass. He wanted to see his family, so he told them to meet him here.

ooc2: Wow really short...

Mistpaw pounced on her dad. "Hi Daddy!" she mewed playfully. I know I have to grow up eventually, but for right now, it's fun to be young, she thought.

"Mistpaw, don't you know pouncing on other cats, especially dad, is MY job?" A teasing masculine voice purred. Crowpaw entered the clearing, his wispy fur sticking up all over the place. It was clear he'd been training- he had so many leaves in hs fur it wasn't funny. He joined Mistpaw, jumping lightly on EAgletalon, purring.

"Dad! What did yo ucall us for?" another tom entered, this one short furred. His fur was dark grey on the top of his body, but faded to silvery white as it moved down to his belly and paws. Cedarpaw grinned at the sight of his siblings burying his father underneath themselves. "Haha, are you still there? or are you buried alive under tons of fur?" He snickered...

"You can't have all the fun!" Mistpaw complained to Crowpaw.

Almost," Eagletalon meowed, his voice muffled by Mistpaw and Crowpaw. "Wait for you mother."

"Yes I can!" He meowed, with a michevious grin. "Because I'm just awesome like that!" He teased, eyes sparkling. He'd missed spending time with his sister- they'd been close in the nursery. "So, what have you been learning, sis?" He meowed, proceeding to chew on her ear.

Cedarpaw nodded. "Okay. Hey dad, do you think Hollypaw and I will be apprentices forever?" he meowed, looking at his paws.

(lol! oh stop moping Cedarpaw, silly tom)

"Of course not, Froststar has just been, ah, distracted, with the war and all," Eagletalon told one of his eldest kits.

"Lots," Mistpaw meowed. She really couldn't say, she'd learned so much. "I hope you do Cedarpaw, that way you and Hollypaw can stay with me and Crowpaw forever! Or maybe we can all just have our ceremonies on the same day!"

Lakeripple padded out of the forestry, her blue-gray fur clinging to her skin in the mist. She gently picked up Mistpaw and nuzzled her. If it had been up to me, you all would have stayed kits forever, she mewed. I thought it was a joke when the other queens said that you want them to stay young forever, but they certainly were not kidding. She purred at Eagletalon, disguising her fear. Cherrypaw and Birchpaw were still a no-show.

The deputy stood back up and went over to sit by her mate. It's getting worse, she mewed, leaning in close to Eagletalon's ear. Did you hear? Dawnstreak is SkyClan's new leader, well, Dawnstar now. They have officially allied themselves with EarthClan. I worry for our little midgets here. Her voice was playful, but the worry in it was clear. Things were definately getting worse in the forest.

"I know," Eagletalon. "Really? She's leader?"

"I know, dad..." Cedarpaw meowed. His frown turned to a grin at Mistpaw's words. "Yeah, that'd be fun wouldn't it? The Lakeagle clan all getting named at once?" he smiled, relaxed now.

"Aw, mom..." Crowpaw muttered looking embarrassed. "I'm not a midget!" He tried to make himself look bigger, but failed.

(are you gonna put them back up for adoption? Cherrypaw and Birchpaw I mean....)

OOC: Yeah, I think I have to. Birchpaw is rped by my best friend in the whole wide world, but when was the last time Silvah on?

Lakeripple glanced at her son in amusement. You are so a midget, and always will be. She looked over all her kits present, and grinned. You will all always be my little midgets, no matter how tall you get. Tucking her tail in, Lakeripple nodded to her mate. Rosefeather apparently had been told by StarClan that she would serve her Clan better as deputy, not leader. And she chose Dawnstar to take her place. She frowned. I have good friends in SkyClan and EarthClan... Then, slowly, a tear formed. Not to mention the High Hills Band, which has also joined that alliance. Lakeripple looked up at Eagletalon in anguish. My brother Eagletalon! I might have to fight Skywalker!

"I'm sure that if you avoid him, some other cat would fight him."

"I don't mind being a midget! It means I'm small and cute!"

(yeah...or maybe you could just talk to her and see if she wants to come back or not?)
"Small and cute?" Crowpaw meowed in disgust, his voice trailing up an octave. "What kind of warrior is that?" He wrinkled his nose. "Toms aren't supposed to be small and cute, we're big, brawny, intelligent and powerful. Small and cute, pah!"

Cedarpaw coughed loudly, trying to cover up his giggles. He stopped as he heard his mother talking with his father, something about a brother? "What? Mom, you have brother? What do you mean we might have to fight against him, er them?" Cedarpaw's face was the picture of confusion, and worry too. He hated seeing Lakeripple distressed..

Lakeripple snorted. Yeah, like that makes me feel better Eagletalon. 'Somebody else will fight him.' And what would I do? Just sit there and watch my brother get possibly wounded by members of my own Clan?" Lakeripple winced. Midget, she whispered to Crowpaw. And yes Cedarpaw, I have a brother. You were a kit when you last saw him, and your father almost had a heart attack. She twitched her tail in minor amusement at the memory.

"If it came down to it, we'll protect him."

"Mommy, am I small and cute?" Mistpaw asked.

Crowpaw scowled at Lakeripple, and then rolled his eyes. Mothers. (XD That was hilarious! XD Lakeripple loooves to tease her children huh? hahaha!)

Cedarpaw looked surprised. "What? really? I don't remember him...." He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully. "How come he's not in this clan? Why'd he leave?" he meowed, ignorant. (XD) "And yeah, we can just avoid him, and secretly help them..." he meowed..

Lakeripple flicked her daughter's ear. Small and cute is an understatement, she said softly, privately laughing at Cedarpaw's words. He didn't remember? Not at all? Well Cedarpaw, you just completely obliterated my past in two sentences. 'How come he's not in this clan? Why'd he leave?' Do you seriously know that little about me? Sweetie, I'm not Clanborn. I'm surprised you did not know that. I swear, the entire Clan is aware, and my own eldest son has no idea? She shook her head in mock disbelief. That will have to change, won't it Eagletalon?

"Of course, he'll also have to know that I seem to attract non-clan born she-cats..."

Lakeripple cuffed her mate. Hey, I didn't know it until after he was born! She said in a dangerous, yet playful voice. And remember when I brought them out to meet my brother? You followed me! 'Lakeripple, how could you?' You thought I was cheating on you! She rolled her eyes. Sometimes, you amuse whoever thought up the art of impulsive conclusions.

Cedarpaw's ears pinned back. "I'm sorry mom," he meowed, a guilty look on his face. "I guess... I guess I never really thought about it." He looked embarrassed. He wasn't usually oblivious and forgetful..."Um..." was all he could say in his defense...

Crowpaw bounced up and down. "Did he ever come to see me and Mistpaw when we were born?" He meowed, eyes gleaming. "I wanna meet him soon! Do I have cousins??"

Lakeripple shot an evil look at her mate, and stared down Cedarpaw before turning her attention to Crowpaw. You'll meet him soon, I think. Yes, you do have cousins, three. His mate is the leader of the little band. Their kits are Moonrise, Burning, and... she hesitated, knowing that the third kit had been stolen by FireClan. Jet. They must be a little older than you, but younger than Cedarpaw. She lowered her head. Our relationship is... complicated. We were separated as kits when our tribe was flooded and everyone died. Our parents died making us safe. My father brought me here, but my mother didn't get him as far. He lives his life as a rogue, named Skywalker. She smiled slightly. My original name was Raincatcher.
