Cedarpaw halfheartedly batted at his brother, the stifling heat of the day making any and all movement unbearable. "Urrgh..." He muttered, his tongue hanging out of his mouth. "I HATE hot days...I have short fur too..."
Crowpaw's eyes were glazed over. He had, inherited Eagletalon's longer, wispy fur, and was not as fortunate as his brother in keeping somewhat cooler. "Please tell me it's almost night time..." He meowed.
"No... unfortunately..." The black she cat in between the two toms muttered. She slowly got to her paws. "C'mon," She slurred, her tongue sticking to the roof of her mouth. "Let's go find the river. It's too hot to just sit here!" She meowed.
