Dovepaw climbed up onto one of the stones her paw's immediately feeling the warmth that the stones gathered from the sun's rays. Dovepaw smiled and wished that she could just relax today enjoying the sun but today was the first day of training...
She sat down curling her tail to cover her small paws waiting for Firemist...

Firemist approached from down wind. Today she and Dovepaw would have battle training. She was going to surprise her apprentice. Firemist silently approached her apprentice. She lined up her shot and pounced.

Dovepaw squeaked when she felt a cat slam into her, she tried to scramble away her eyes wide with fear.

Firemist leapt off her apprentice. "We need to work on your reaction to an attack. But first attack me, try to pin me on the ground," the she-cat meowed. Firemist was adverage sized, Dovepaw was an apprentice, so she'd have to be tricky with her attack.

Dovepaw blinked, Oh it's just Firemist... she thought and nodded after her mentors instructions. Dovepaw sank herself to the ground and then examined her mentor Where to attack... Dovepaw tried swiping at Firemist's paws planning on tripping and toppling over her mentor..
ooc- You can deside if she fails >_> I don't want to go too far and make it seem like powerplaying..

Firemist quickly saw Dovepaw's intention. She fell, but toward the apprentice. Normally Firemist wouldn't have fallen, but she wanted to see Dovepaw's reaction.

Dovepaw frowned and rolled over trying to push Firemist up, doing her best to keep her fore-paws claws in.

ooc- Forgot about this thread again =/
Dovepaw sat limp looking strait ahead, her ears flat against her head, Great training. she thought. Dovepaw gasped in air, sucking in her stomach and began to claw at the ground in front of her trying to pull out. Like crawling under a log.
