Painpaw sighed, The lethal spots are the throat, head, and stomach and the ones that aren't that severe are you're flanks right? he said plainly, It's kinda obvious.. he added softly in his head

You can use many moves, as you obviously know. But we're here to determine the most effective combination of moves, one that will hurt them enemy, just enough to keep them from coming back, but not more. We're not murderers. Do you have a favorite move to make? I haven't taught you the more complicated stuff, but what would you do to defend yourself? what move? A jump backwards? Thrusting yourself at them and using muscle?"

Painpaw slightly had his head down, not really paying attention. For a while he didn't even answer, I don't know..a twist? You can easily make a cat fall if you twist around a certain way... he replied dully.

Wolfstorm could clearly see Painpaw wasn't very interested in the lesson. She bit back a sigh. He was so completely different than her- she, happy and outgoing, he depressed and sometimes antisocial...
"Yes, you can. Tripping a cat is a great defense, and also gives you a chance at offense. Why don't you try it on me?" SHe meowed.

Painpaw just stared at his mentor and then looked away one eye still on Wolfstorm, Why? he asked blankly. He didn't really want to learn anything today, he wasn't interested.

Wolfstorm was getting frustrated. How could she teach him if he didn't want to learn? She sighed, but then, wanting to get 'even' she turned around and just grinned at him, knowing how much he disliked that. She grinned again, just thinking about that.

Wolfstorm struggled with her impatience. All she really wanted to do was yell 'FINE!' but she bit her lip. She had to find the reason why he was like this- perhaps only then would she find out how she could help... She padded on in silence, turning her face away from him..All she really wanted to do now was run away and see Fuzepaw... How she missed him! And he might know what to do... He always knew how to make her feel better and relieve her frustration..

Wolfstorm's thoughts whirled around in her head. What to do? Nothing interested Painpaw. How could she train him when he didn't care?
Cedarpaw and his brother Crowpaw were hiding out behind a bush. All that could be seen, if one looked hard enough, was his blue green eyes. "When he comes close, we spring, got it Crowpaw?"
Crowpaw just narrowed his eyes mischeviously...

"Now!" Cedarpaw whispered forcefully, jetting out from the bushes like a bolt of lightning. Crowpaw was right behind him. Haha, leaping on thier clanmates was so fun!
Wolfstorm looked around and yelped as two streaks of grey launched from out of the bushes, yowling like mad cats. Where had they come from??
