Faithspirit wandered around using "patrol" as an excuse to stay out of camp. Lately she felt like a burden, even though she hunted and did what a normal clan cat should do...she felt useless
Faithspirit looked at the sky wondering if Starclan was watching over the clans this very moment, What have I been doing wrong? she murmured; she sighed and continued walking her blue and green eyes glinting from the sun.

Dawnstreak ran quickly towards Faithspirit with Dreampaw at her side. "Wait up! We're supposed to be doing this together!" she yowled at the other warrior.

Faithspirit blinked a little surprised and then apologetically, I'm sorry Dawnstreak, I- I was lost in thought... Faithspirit hung her head; she couldn't do anything right. She failed once again

Dreampaw bounded up behind Dawnstreak. Her head was in the clouds. She had no idea what Faithspirit had done wrong. All her thoughts were focused on Flashpaw. The feathery tail, mud-like scent, dark eyes... Dreampaw could go on and on. For ever and ever. She could talk for days straight about Flashpaw, but no other cat knew of this. She wouldn't let them. Already she was from Waterclan, so they doubted her loyalty a little bit, then to find out she was in love with an Earthclan cat. Dreampaw shuttered at the thought. She gazed at the Earthclan border. She hoped to see him, but she wasn't going to be surprised if he wasn't there. The chances were quite slim, unless he was waiting for her... Dreampaw's heart soared. She parted her jaw and tried to take in anything that reminded her of his scent. Nothing came close enough to the unique fragrance. Dreampaw stopped. She wanted so badly to cross the border and try to find Flashpaw.

Faithspirit sighed, Dreampaw's head wasn't the only one in the clouds; her's was also except it was a dark gray cloud of depression...

Dreampaw shamefully lowered her head. Dawnstreak noticed that she wasn't focused. What if she noticed more. Dreampaw caught up with her mentor. "Sorry," she murmured.

Dawnstreak drew closer to the EarthClan border, and began renewing the scent markers.

Dreampaw followed her mentor. She kept her senses alert for any signs of Flashpaw. "Dawnstreak," she began. "Can I renew one of the scent markers?"

Faithspirit had lost track again not paying attention just mentally putting herself down on how useless she was. All she needed was a good reason and she could kill herself.

Rosefeather was walking quietly, enjoying her moments of peace. The deputy was swamped with work. Not to mention the new alliances. Looking up, her emerald eyes closed peacefully. She then almost ran into the border patrol. "Ah, sorry!"She meowed quickly, flicking her tail.

Dreampaw's heart soared when Rosefeather mentioned an alliance. She would be able to talk to Flashpaw without fear of being discovered. These were her thoughts as she marked the border.
