Gathering (Jan 21-26, 08)

[Silvah]

Silverpaw padded over to Moonlitpaw and Pondpaw. "Hi!" She mewed."I'm Silverpaw from WaterClan."

Stream and Misty still remained on the hill, away from the cats, she turned to face Misty and saw she was worried. "Don't worry," she mewed "if anything heppens we'll go down there too."

Misty just gave a slight nod and watched the cats below, her gaze following Sunset and Skywalker, she raised her head to the skies. "Starclan keep them safe" she whispered, hoping nothing would happen down in that clearing.

Stream raised an eyebrow at Misty then she too looked down on the cats below, something caught her eye andas she focused on it an icy shiver ran down her spine. She looked at Silverpaw and a pang of greif stabbed at her heart, she looked so much like her daughter she had lost. Could it be possible that-. She stopped, How could the clan cat be her daughter? she died, didn't she? No. What if-. she stopped again, this time shaking her head. Even if she was her daughter she couldn't possibly go down there. she be clawed to death by all of those clan cats. She sighed, how could such a cat like her have so many problems?

Thunderpaw bounded over to Pondpaw, Silverpaw and Moonlitpaw. "Hey," he mewed I'm Thunderpaw. His white chest practically glowing in the light of the full moon.

Flashchest just resumed grooming his odd fur, keeping one eye open on the lookout for she-cats. Then he noticed Thawpelt's sister. Why's she here? he whispered in his head, wondering if he should go up to her and apolagise for bursting in on her and Thawpelt.

"Yay! Another apprentice! How many do we got here? Proubly enough just here to start our own gathering!" Pondpaw joked.

Skywalker didn't know what to say to his sister that would make her believe. Suddenly, the memory of he, his mother, and his sister in the grasps of the wave once more came to him. Skywalker was just being pulled onto his mothers shoulders, so she could paddle madly after his sister, who had gotten nocked away when the wave had come. Just before his sister was washed away into a different channel of rushing water, his mother called out her name.

"R-...Raincatcher?" Skywalker mewed to his sister, hopping that she remembered the name that was given to her before she had been washed away.

"Why is she acting like that?" Thawpelt whispered to Forestfur, noticeing how Sunset was ducking away from her brothers' gazes. Had Treestar seen her yet?

Thunderpaw laughed and after a while nodded to Ponpaw. "So how are things in your clan?" he mewed.

Ghostsight looked from Lakeripple to the new cat, and realized that there was some unspoken past between them. Not to be prying into the buisness of others, he quickly found something very interesting to do over near the apprentices. Someone had to watch them after all, and eavesdropping was not a very nice thing to do. Slowly walking up to the apprentices, he looked over them, and noticed how many of them there were.

And these were just the ones that could make it, Ghostsight thought to himself, I wonder how many are still at their respective camps...

As he walked up, he positioned himself behind Pondpaw, hoping not to scare the poor she-cat. He had a bad tendancy to scare the living day-lights out of other cats, for just 'appearing out of nowhere'. Clearing his throat before he talked, he hoped he wouldn't do something like that to anyone here today. It would be bad for his first time here to be started by a high-strung cat freaking out and taking a swipe at him.

"Good afternoon! Are all of you being good today? We wouldn't want Starclan to get mad, would we?"

IC: "To my knowledge, Waterclan is going great. How is Earthclan? Some warrior told me that there is a rumor going around that you guys have a new deputy...."

"Yeah, Flameclaws. He's my mentor!" Thunderpaw purred, puffing out his stripy fur. Then he saw Ghostsight. "Of course we haven't" he mewed innocently. making his eyes as big as possible and fluffing up all of his fur even more.

Pondpaw bent her head backwards slightly to look at Ghostsight. His name really did fit him. The tom could come out to nowhere, just like a ghost. "Oh, gosh oh golly Ghostsight, now we wouldn't do bad!" Pondpaw mewed playfully to the warrior with a funny tone for the beginning few words. The slim she-cat too gave him cute eyes like Thunderpaw.

Snowfoot saw the apprentices with Ghostsight and padded up to them. "Hope their not being too much of a handful Ghostsight" the young tortoiseshell warrior mewed as he stopped and sat down besde him.

Ghostsight looked at Snowfoot, and chuckled loudly. He then put both of his front paws on top of Thunderpaw's and Pondpaw's heads, sitting on his hind feet.

"I'm pretty sure I could handle an apprentice or two."

After scruffing up the fur on their heads, he dropped his paws and licked his chest again. Between licks, he started talking again, but down to a whisper for only Snowfoot and him.

"What do you think is going to happen? Everyone keeps staring at each other with either love or malice in their eyes...and I really don't want to be a part of a bad omen from Starclan. Not on my first time here."

[lakeripple]

Lakeripple stared at Skywalker. "Ex, excuse me?" she mewed. "I'm Lakeripple." Then another memory clicked. This time of a beautiful blue-gray and black she-cat crouching over a blue-gray kit and a black kit. "Shiverspots," she murmured.

Silverpaw smelled a scent that seemed unclan-like. She pondered who might be there who was not in a clan for a moment, and then shrugged it off. She turned to her new friends--excited about her first gathering.

Treestar glanced at Emberfrost as the tom spoke of Sunset, who the leader had just noticed. What was his daughter doing here? quickly, the leader had to come up with something to say. "She has come to tell me new information about the tribe. Its seems like they are up to something new." The Earthclan leader spoke so confadently, that he may have fooled himself. It was a smart move....but....would the warrior ask her to make sure, or trust the word of his leader?

"Hey!" Pondpaw purred to the new warrior that had come. "You must be Moonpelt! All the apprentices always talk about the newest warriors in each clan. You are from Skyclan, right?" the slim silver-blue she-cat mewed to the young warrior, giving her a small sniff to be sure.

Skywalker froze. Had his sister just said their mother's name? Even the tom couldn't remember it all that well. Maybe his sister, Lakeripple, really did remember! "That.....that is m-..I mean our mother's name! So you remember?" Skywalker chirped happily, unable to controll his sudden burst of happiness.

Rippedpaw padded up to the apprentices. "How are things in your clans?"

Darkpaw walked nervously toward Spottednose. "Would you be willing to mentor me?"

Firemist watched the apprentices for a while, then walked over to Lakeripple. "How's the prey running?

Eagletalon looked at Lakeripple. "Who is that?"

Spottednose and Wildflight looked up as Snowstep called on them. Wildflight couldn't help but smile. "Hey Snowstep, it's great to see you again! I agree it seems like months since we saw each other. Look at you. Have you been eating enough? You seem skinnier since the last time I saw you." There was concerend in Widflight's eyes, she couldn't help but wonder if Skyclan's prey was running well.

Spottednose purred with amusement. Wildflight could act mature at times. "Yes, prey is running well in EarthClan" Noticing that Darkpaw, the Fireclan medicine cat apprentice had approached to her, she left Widlfight and Snowstep with their conversation. She blinked up with surprise at Darkpaw's request. "Mentor you? Is something wrong with Littleflower?"

Acornpaw sat quitely in a corner of the clearing. Once again, she was alone. She looked up, and saw that many cats were having fun. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Smokepaw sitting alone by himself as well. Ever since the incident with Whitemoon, she seemed awkward. She didn't know if Smokepaw and Pondpaw had the same feeling. Words appeared in her head unexpectedly, confusing her each time in camp. She hesitated wheter or not to approach him. Deciding already, she uncurled herself and padded up to Smokepaw.

Turning her head, Mossheart looked up and saw that another cat was with the group as well. She looked up with curousity on the cat. She was about to ask, when Emberfrost fired the question before her and waited intently for Treestar's response.

"Yes, she hasn't returned in a long time, and I'm not ready to become a full Medicine cat," Darkpaw meowed

Spottednose looked up at Darkpaw with surprise again. So Littleflower was missing. She couldn't help but worry and prayed to Starclan that she was alright. As long as she was safe, then it was all that mattered. She could understand how Darkpaw was feeling. It was difficult for an apprentice who didn't have the full understanding of a medicine cat's duty yet. She closed her eyes and blinked them open again. She chose her words slowly with care, making sure that she was going to make the right decision. "Does...Burningstar know about this? Did he agree to it?"

"Yes of course, it was his idea," Darkpaw meowed quickly.

OOC: Btw, your bio says Skyclan not Fireclan. That's why it took me a while finding your bio.

Thinking carefully once again, Spottednose knew what she had to do. It was the only decision in order to choose the right path. "Alright Darkpaw, let me think about it alright? It is a good idea and it may be possible but I am still uncertain with this." She looked up, wondering if it was right. Starclan, guide me she prayed. Looking back at Darkpaw, she smiled, trying not to make her worry, worse of all, feel scared. "I'll visit you you in a few days with my decision. Try not to worry ok?"
