OOC: This is for Hiddenpaw, Lilypaw, Sunset, and Skywalker.
Hiddenpaw picked her way through the hills. She breathed in, and noticed that the place smelled familiar. It smelled like home, at least her young kit half thought so.

Lilypaw shivered. "This place smells weird." Her white paws danced their way carefully across the hill, dainty, silent, and cursed. The scents around her were like something had smeared them all together, trying to confuse everyone, it was alien, and it made her jaw clatter. But with feirce detrmination, she followed her friend with unquestionable loyalty.

Hiddenpaw grinned and turned around. "Not to me it doesn't. We must be in the right place."

Lilypaw stuck her tongue out playfully. "So how are we going to do this, just pop in, say 'Hi Mom! Hi Dad!' and go home?" She meowed sarcastically.

Hiddenpaw shrugged. "Forestfur said my dad doesn't even know I exist." She grinned back at Lilypaw. "Should be an interesting surprise, huh?"
Sunset ran through the hills, letting the weak sun soak into her pelt. She changed course when she saw two cats on her territory. She growled. Then slowed. It can't be! she thought. Then her eyes narrowed. I will get you for this Forestfur.

ooc: Should the High Hills gang recognize Lilypaw as Silentkill's daughter and tell Hiddenpaw they can't be friends? It'd be an interesting twist *pokes*
ic: Lilypaw laughed. "It'll be great!" Her silent paws were soon damp from the morning dew, turning the white a light grey. Her green eyes shifted nervously.

Hiddenpaw sniffed and stiffened. She stared at a clump of bushes, blue eyes flashing.
Sunset stared with rage at her daughter. Those eyes, so like her own, and her mother's, were set stubbornly. Growling, Sunset flicked her tail, thinking of ways to massacre her brother. Seemed only fair. He had dashed Hiddenpaw's chance of believing in herself. She hissed, and let her tail wander over a clump of brambles, signaling Skywalker. She guessed it was time...

Lilypaw stiffened. "Do you smell it too?" She asked in a whisper.

"Let's run up the Hills and try to lose them." Lilypaw slunk down lower, crouching to a point where her belly fur touched the ground.

A jet black form crashed through the long grass, thrusting itself in the pathway of the two young she-cats. His lips were back in such a snarl that it would scare even himself, for normally the tribe cat wasn't like this. Skywalker's dark blue-green eyes protectivly, fearing for the rest of his kits. "Come for the rest of them? Taking Jet wasn't enough!?" the tom snarled, dark fur on end and claws ready to tear at the intruders. For this time, Skywalker was blind to age. For a cat that would rarely question apprentices of this age to suddenly turn on these two was scary. The worst part was that he had come in without noticing Sunset.
The silence was broken by the tom's snarls. Noises that seemed to be coming from a caged animal, fighting to save what little its wild eyes still kept close. The loss of Jet, Skywalker's favorite of the three kits, had made the cat blind to everything. Pain and rage. That was all that was left right now.
OOC: oh my poor Skywalker! D= He normally not this grumpy...SUNSET!!! Stop your mate before he does something he regrets! =O

Lilypaw froze. Her natural fighting instincts kicked in.(ooc: Lilypaw can take down the best of the Tribe; not some god-cat, but rage permits her to have extreme fighting skillage, lol) ic: A strange, yet mournful snarl, came from behind the young apprentices. Instantly, her fur stood on end, and her claws unsheathed without another thought. "Hiddenpaw, I hope you can fight." If anyone had first glanced at the she-cat, they would have thought her a monster, with the glint of death in her eyes, she feared no one, not even her own death. A single purpose kept her soul intact, and the purpose seemed an endless dream filled with blood-shed to Lilypaw. However, the she-cat was not fighting for herself this time, with her new friend behind her, Lilypaw felt it her duty to keep Hiddenpaw alive, to fulfill their vow, even she herself would not.
ooc: Wow!! Surprised myself there, didn't know I had that in me!! Hehe, go Lilypaw!!

Hiddenpaw stared up at the tom in silent terror, her shining starry blue eyes quivering with frightened tears. She gave a quick nod to Lilypaw, then continued to stare at the tom. He seemed slightly familiar, though she had never seen him.
Sunset let out a cry. "Skywalker! Skywalker stop!" she yelled, running through the bushes.

Lilypaw paid no heed to the approaching she-cat. Using her back legs to lunge forward, she aimed for the large tom.

Sunset changed her course and knocked into the other apprentice. Her eyes bored into the one she had bumped into. "Don't you dare!" she growled, showing razor sharp fangs. Her starry blue eyes quivered in rage.

Skywalker had almost begun a underside leap for the young she-cat, right when Sunset smashed in their ways. The tom paused, frozen as he watched his mate knock the apprentice away, hissing a warning he could not hear. His dark green-blue eyes flickered away from its rage slightly. What Skywalker had heard, was Sunset yelling for him to stop. In the tom's anger his actions became deaf to what his ears had heard. Only now did the tom notice the age of the suppoid "indruders", and begin to ponder why Sunset didn't want him stop them. He was only looking out for the last two of his kits...
Who knows if Jet is still alive.
OOC: lol...Foxcloud does... =P

Hiddenpaw's tail swished defensively. She stared up at the tom, then glanced at the she-cat. Looking up, her eyes met the tom's sapphire ones. Blue, almost like her's.
