Didn't Whitemoon say to meet again on half moon? well it was time. the night was darker than last time, for the moon wasn't as large and full. the starts still shone, though streaks of dark clouds dimmed them.
Smokepaw looked almost invisible in the darkness. the only thing shining was his eyes, which darted back and forth, scanning the clearing of the Giant Oak. he was all alone, his fur a little fluffed from the cold. he thought about asking Pondpaw to come with him, but he didn't. why? he wasn't sure. too shy? too arrogant? he could shake off the feeling that he missed having her my his side... but maybe this was for the better. what if she gets hurt?
the dark grey apprentice sat down beside some bushes and waiting impatiently for the rest to arrive.
OOC: come Pondpaw! surprise him! XP

OOC: I think Pondpaw has to go fetch Arrow, so she will be here in a bit....if that plan continues....or maybe that could have already happened....Maybe I should wait for Arrow to post here, and tell me the plan.....*wiggles in chair impatiently* Just read your post at the old gathering, so I guess, ENTER PONDPAW! lol
IC: Pondpaw walked slowly and silently threw the cold and bitter forest. Her paws felt frozen and raw, each time she pounded the ground. Her breath was cold, and it seemed like a small fire in her lungs licked at her throat, and made steam flow from her jaws when she let out warm breath. If only she could breath out all the cold inside of her, and not the warmth. Her emerald eyes flicked everywhere, before turning around, and making sure Arrow was following. They had had a bit of problems when they met. The slim apprentice ended up saving the other cat, and now they were slowly beginning to become friends. Or was she playing Pondpaw? Pondpaw shook that thought out of her head instantly, and looked ahead of her once more.
Pondpaw had heard of cats that had joined Starclan, because of the cold. Maybe it will happen to me....Pondpaw wondered, but kept moving on threw the darkness. Her long silver colored whiskers were the only thing that helped her feel threw the undergrowth. The moon gave little light in its incomplete form. The only thing worse, was if it had been gone tonight. Arrow most likely had it easier. Pondpaw's bright fur must be giving off its own light or something, because of its bright silver glow.
Suddenly a thorn poked into the apprentice's nose. Pondpaw whimpered slightly, before slowly inching threw the large thorn bush. The final leaves parted, and the Great Oak stood a good number of running strides ahead of them. Its large image almost took Pondpaw away, like it had before. Then the apprentice froze. Whitemoon had wasted no time to pick out Pondpaw, and ask her what she was doing with the other cats. Now with this second appearance, would the starclanner turn her away? Everything now seemed unwelcoming, as she longed for the warmth that once brushed her flank, and that would sleep next to her in the apprentice's den. But the spot was no longer warm, but seemed to be frozen now. Heartless, and unwelcoming. That was what everything looked like now to her.
Pondpaw had been in this moment so long, that she almost didn't notice the dark figure ahead of them. Its back was turned, but it still seemed like it, and everything else was watching her. Daring her to gather with the chosen cats once more. Paw step by paw step, the Waterclan apprentice slowly made her way out. Before the she-cat was ready, she was only a few steps away from the figure. A scent rushed over her, and she felt the warmth once more. "Smokepaw?" Pondpaw gasped, as the bitter cold air itched her throat.
OOC: I felt really in character! ;D

OOC: oh nice post! btw did u get a nickname made up yet? XP or should i keep calling u pikeru? btw, pikeru, you keep spelling "through" as "threw", which isn't right. XP threw is the past tense of throwing something. through is going under/past/through something. 0.o LOL i can't explain well...
IC: Smokepaw's fur was fluffed up from the cold. he could feel every inch of himself, from fur to bone, freez in the cold. the night was simply silent, and he wondered if all the cats forgot to come. or they were just late, like the last time. but tonight was much colder... not only does the moon not make any heat, but it's deeper into leaf-fall... leafbare is almost here.
he thought he was all alone, when a familiar, sweet scent reached him. he wondered if he was hallucinating from the lack of warmth. his nose was so cold he thought it was frozen solid, and his pads almost seem to stick to the ground like it's ice-bound. the scent drifted closer, it seems, as he closed his eyes to feel himself become warmer. don't all cats feel a sudden warmth when they're about to die in the cold? he thought to himself, but wasn't scared. then, a soft voice sounded beside him, calling his name. for a second he thought he was hearing things, until he caught the silver-blue shine from Pondpaw when he finally opened his eyes.
well, that was a bit of a shock.
"what're you doing here?" he asked, frowning a little. "you should be curled up in the den right now." he hissed. he knew he wasn't being nice. although he didn't knew it, he was a little angry because he was afraid.
afraid that he would lose her on this dangerous mission.

OOC: Oh, sorry! The Spell check doesn't give grammar, and sometimes I type fast, so sometimes stuff like that happens....I'm working on it..... >_>'
IC: Pondpaw felt slightly taken aback at what Smokepaw had said. "It is already cold enough, I don't need any cold words..." Pondpaw purring tauntingly, as a flicker of amusement swept over her emerald eyes. Her silver-blue fur fluffed up, as a harsh wind blew into the she-cat's thin coat, she shivered short, but violently. Why did this night have to be so cold? It seemed as if they would have to be here a wile once more.
The slim silver-blue apprentice turned flicked her ear to Arrow, who was hopefully behind her. “I ran into Arrow when I was out. So that is why I am here. And plus, I was worried something would harm you if I didn’t come.” Pondpaw almost blushed on the last part, not knowing why. In fact, she might be doing it now. The Waterclan apprentice rolled her tongue over her chest fur, in a attempt not to show Smokepaw that she was blushing. That is, if she was. Pondpaw looked up once more to the handsome tom, and tipped her head slightly to one side, as she let her emerald eyes match up with his dark blue ones. They were cold too, but soft on the inside. They were kind of warm, and they have Pondpaw a slight warm wave, that rushed from whiskers to tail tip.
“Why, do you not want me here?” Pondpaw asked, her eyes were pleading, as if to say, Please don’t make me go! But this was Smokepaw’s choice. Pondpaw didn’t really know why she was here. She still feared what Whitemoon would do, if he saw her here again. It would be tough to make her leave his side. It seemed warm near him. As if a large bubble circled him, and when she stepped inside, it was warm and welcoming. The outside world was nothing when she was in the bubble. But then a cold wind whipped through her fur, and dug deep into her spine. Then reality came back, and she was back in the cold clearing. The warm bubble was absent.

Acornpaw walked silently, almost as if she was floating to her reaching destination. She couldn't help but feeling angry at herself. Or maybe the other group of chosen cats. That emotion, couldn't be controlled however. Once again, she had to sneak out of camp. Everytime she did that, she could feel a rush of panic arose her. It was as if she did something disaterous that would betray the clan. As she approached closer, she could see three cats already there. One she could not recognize but she knew the other two. She could hear Pondpaw and Smokepaw, talking with bitterness. She hid under the bushes, with curiosity roaming around her. She couldn't help but listen to their conversation. After Pondpaw's last statement, she could hear the pleadiness inside of it. Not wanting to hear another word, her bubble of angerness emerged further than before. It made her think of the time when she had to plead many times in order to play with the other kits. Yet no matter how much she pleaded, it never worked.
"PLease? Can't I play with you guys for once? Only once. I promise I won't tell you parents again." Acornkit pleaded. She had told Leafkit's mom about her naughiness, trying to dare others with dangerous missions. Yet no matter how dangerous it was, the other kits didn't bother blabbing. After that one mistake, Leafkit was harshly scolded and she was given the angry stare from many surrounding kits. "Leave us alone!" Leafkit hissed, shaking her away. "Yeah, leave us alone" the words surrounded her, taunted by other cats. Again she was alone. Everyone highly respected leafkit and no one would dare oppose of her. No one would understand how she would feel. Everyone thought that Leafkit was always the innoncent one, and as if she was always bothering them. Abudent of tears wanted to flow down, but it was no time for crying! Without hesitation, she teared out of her hiding place and stomped toward the three gathering cats. She was no longer the quiet and calm cat today. Tonight, a different character approached her. "Pondpaw, you do whatever you like alright? and Smokepaw, this is a free world, respect other's decisions" she shouted, taking all her anger out on them. She took big gulps of air and breathed heavily, not caring for once what others thought of her. If she was going to get bullied or ignored at, if was fine. She was use to this already, whatever the results were at the end, she didn't care.
OOC: sorry, just felt like adding a different character inside of her. Wow! long one again. Score two!

OOC: That is okay....to both of you!!!! lol
IC: Pondpaw whipped around at a sudden sound. "Acornpaw?" Pondpaw chirped with shock. Acornpaw never acted like this. Or, from what the she-cat had seen so far about this Earthclan apprentice. What could be bothering Acornpaw so much, that it would make the normally sweet and shy Acornpaw, bitter and angry. Pondpaw focused her worried emerald eyes on the Earthclan apprentice.

OOC; so sorry i wasn't on again. as you might have noticed, i wasn't on for like a long time... seemed like an eternity! i had SO MUCH HW this weekend that i wasn't even able to go on for the weekend. so sad. sneaking on in class again. and i was also freaked out cause i thought nobody posted in the gathering: many thanks. ^^
IC; Smokepaw raised an eyebrow when Acornpaw charged in a started yelling at him. what's gotten into her? he thought to himself. she's always been the quiet type of cat, who barely talked, let alone yell to knock some sense into other people. "Fine, stay." he mumbled, like he didn't care, though he felt that he was putting more than just one cat in danger.
OOC: i wonder when the others will come. im so bored and so sorry once again, that i dont have much to RP about today. X.x" can't get the inspiration to post long, but good job ilovewarriors! *gives reputation*

Satisfied with his answer, Acornpaw fluffed her fur, sat down and curled herself up. The weather was getting rather cold nowadays and she couldn't bear to get sick. After all, it would show what a weakling she was. She realized that she was unable to look up to the eyes of the other two apprentices. Her eyes were filled with coldness now, ready to spring on. For some odd reason, she didn't even feel ashame at the harshness of her tone awhile ago. She didn't even bother talking to them, although it felt like they were trying to welcome her to their conversation. Feeling the familiar silence, she didn't bother making a move. Scared to break the silence. She liked it that way.

Whitemoon floated down and looked for all of the cats, only a few were there already, but the others were coming, he could feel it. They would break rules to come, but it t'was the only way. Arrow would make the mission better, but how long she would last was the only question. Whitemoon jumped a dimention down and appeared to the normal eye. To most, he would be a lucky shooting star, to the prophecy cats, he would be a message of hope. Tonight, their lives would intertwine in an enternal bond of lies and secrets, forever, this night would mark their destinys' paths and challenge their minds and hearts, of loyalty to one's Clan. OOC: Whew! Well, I'm happy to finally be back, hope no one missed me too much. Snow, I should have some graphics for you soon, other than that... YEY!!

Still not looking up to the two apprentices, she looked away from them as far as possible. A sudden of white mist surrounded the apprentices, casting a beautiful mixture to the dark sky. It was an amazing sight. Having an attempt for her eyes to close, she inhaled deeply. She could feel a presence nearby them. Someone who seemed familiar, yet she couldn't put her tongue to it. After a few moments of his presence, she could tell that it was the one and only important person who was going to guide them through an adventerous path. That was it. Whitemoon had approached to them.

ooc: haha, arrow got sick from her cousins. I'll be taking her's for a little bit, then she should be able to sneak on.
Whitemoon stood silent for meer seconds. "Where are the rest of the cats? Are they not here yet?"
Winterpaw pushed her way through the branches. Good, she wasn't the latest. She bowed her head toward Whitemoon and sat down.
Thunderwing jumped over a log, then suddenly, stopped. A strange scent was around him. He unsheathed his claws and spun around. "Who's there?" Soon, a beautiful she-cat walked out of the brambles. "My name is Arrow, and I need to be taken to Whitemoon." Song walked briskly around the huge tree. She hummed in her head, ignoring to be on her guard, as a rogue should always be. As she rounded the tree, a bright light, whom she knew was Whitemoon, overwhelmed the night. "I'm here!" she yowled. ooc: Who's taking Foxcloud?

OOC: I guess I can until Arrow gets back....Oh, and Arrow is already there. She came with Pondpaw.
IC: Pondpaw looked up as a wise voice spoke. The starclanner Whitemoon stood before them. But why did he show himself to her? Why not just the chosen cats? Pondpaw began to shrink back into herself just like she had when he first came, but quickly stiffened, and held her head high, as a thought went threw her head. If I act scared of him, he might just not show himself to me, or trust me with what ever he has to say. Stay cool Pondpaw. You can do this. Pondpaw's mind betrayed her true fear. It spoke proudly, and had no fear. It sounded all knowing. But the slim silver-blue she-cat knew that wasn't her. Pondpaw's emerald eyes slowly turned to Smokepaw, then the floor. Her confidence was now gone.
Foxcloud quickly made her way threw the bushes. Oh great, I hope I'm not late!!! The she-cat had been held up by a few apprentices and elders, who needed answers to questions, or maybe just their morning prey. And on top off all that, the cold weather last time they met here, gave Foxcloud a slight runny nose. This had the medicine cat circling her like a bird of prey, that was waiting for the right moment to attack. Over all, it wasn't easy to get away. Foxcloud skirted a few large oak trees, and shoved her way threw a large fern. Just as the last leaves parted, Foxcloud could see the gathering cats. Her paws took her quickly, when she saw Whitemoon standing before them. "Am I late?" Foxcloud's breath hissed from her throat dryly. Her running nose was making it feel like she had a ball of fur stick in her throat. The cold wind didn't help.

OOC: Well she'll just come with Thunderwing now. Unless you had some big part for her...
Whitemoon shook his head. "I hope Thunderwing and Arrow get here soon. Either way, I have an extremely dangerous mission for one of you. You'll have to be cunning, swift of mind, and have some talent the Tribe would want for their attack."
Thunderwing nodded. "Okay, follow me." he shot off into the direction of the Giant Oak. Arrow followed a few tail lengths behind.
Winterpaw sat shocked. "You mean you want one of us to join the Tribe?"
Song's bubble burst instantly. Then her eye twitched.
Whitemoon nodded. "Yes, Arrow's information will not be enough. Someone must join the Tribe and bring information of their attack point and weakness back. I might be able to visit in dreams and carry that information to the remaining cats, but my soul has weakened with every visit I take. I must have at least a moon of rest before I can travel skies again. This will be our last meeting before I rest. For the cat that goes, I will transfer an ability of illusion to make Kali keep you. So my last question is, who will go at the risk of their live to save the Clans?"

OOC: No, not really, so go ahead. OOOOH!!! Should Pondpaw go? That would totally make Smokepaw shocked and worried! Plus, maybe the idea of a cat apprentice age could help out in the acceptance part. lol, just a thought.... >_>'
IC: Pondpaw gave a nod to all the other cats as they started to come. The slim she-cat looked up at Whitemoon as he began to talk again. Pondpaw felt her heart skip a beat, as Whitemoon talked about someone going into the tribe. The silver-blue Waterclan apprentice stood slightly on her haunches, and rose herself above the rest. "I think....maybe...." Pondpaw cast a weary eye to Smokepaw and the others, "That maybe I should go. Think of the advantage I would have. Kali would be more likely to take in a apprentice then a warrior." Pondpaw was shocked at what she was saying. This was REALLY not like her. As Pondpaw got back to all fours, she awaited a angry yell from Smokepaw, and a roar of protests from the others.
Foxcloud was equally shocked by what Whitemoon had said, but more shocked on what the brave little Pondpaw had said. Foxcloud closed her surprised jaws, and turned to the slim silver-blue apprentice. Pondpaw had a slim structure, and hardly was fit to be a tribe cat. "Are you crazy, you little furball?!" That was all Foxcloud could say. She was too surprised.
Pondpaw winced at Foxclouds words, but turned to the older warrior, with a explanation of why. "Why not me? I am just a plain apprentice, who has been showing up without a dream to say so. Why not me? Winterpaw is a medicine cat apprentice, (am I correct?) and I can’t picture her clan dying to give her up to the tribe! And yet again, I have a better chance at getting to join. Why would Kalie turn away a cat with a skill, and none the last, a apprentice that could learn about their ways?" Pondpaw nodded confidently to Foxcloud, but looked at Whitemoon for approval. "I have to make up for coming her without reason anyway." Pondpaw added to the starclanner.
OOC: If not, I can edit.

OOC: Not too sure. Hey why don't we add two cats to join the Tribe? That way, Pondpaw won't get too lonely and they would be able to help each other out. IC: After recalling back to what Whitemoon had said about joining the Tribe, she related to herself. Picturing herself there (almost) betraying her clan. Yet the more she thought about it, the less confidence she had on herself. As Whitmoon was looking for volunteers, she shrunk back. Not realizing if her sudden movement made others think she was a scardy-cat, fear roamed around her. A sudden voice broke out the silence, volunteering herself to join the Tribe. Acornpaw couldn't help but being pleased. Pleased that she didn't need to join an unknown Tribe. Being alone there, helping out an enemy. As she looked up to see who was speaking, she couldn't help but feel surprise as the voice was of Pondpaws'. She could sense the voice of a bravery cat with self confidence surrounding her, and she couldn't help but envy her. Envy her confidence and bravery, not even which she could compare herself to. Then a sudden pang of guilt roamed around her. She felt hatred towards herself now. Not able to stand up for the clans, for being extremely selfish, and making other cats suffer on her behalf. A sudden thought crossed her mind. Still unsure though on her decision, she hissed to herself. This isn't a time to be deciding right now! It's now or never. You must stand up for yourself! She sighed, not sure where or how to start this. She took a deep breath, "Um...I...I...." As she looked up, many pair of eyes stared at her. Feeling embarrassed, she tried not to meet their gaze, and stared on the ground, silently whispering "I want to go with Pondpaw." She couldn't help wonder if her decision was approving or not, but at least she tried. Tried her best to meet up with the needs of all four clans. Going back to her situation, she wasn't sure if the group of cats heard her. Try again! A voice hissed at her. She looked up, with determination now, thinking of what her future would lead her to. To her, it didn't matter. She met their eyes and repeated herself loudly one more time. "I want to go with Pondpaw. That way, we'll be able to help each other out."As she finished her statement, she looked around the gathering cats, and slouched back, not knowing if they would approve her decision.... OOC: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Score 3! Whoot!

OOC: ohhhhhh i'm gonna give all of you a reputation!!!!!!! =P love the posts! and i've no idea what to do... i don't want to be all alone! TAKE ME WITH U! lol jk! i "discussed" with ilovewarriors (in class AGAIN), and decided i should volunteer too! ^^ whether or not we get chosen (or a threesome! =PPPPPP) is Whitemoon's choice. but hey, 3 apprentices sounds perfect to me! besides, it'll be so weird if 2 she-cats sacrifice themselves and the tom stays behind. XP
IC: Smokepaw wasn't too surprised when Pondpaw volunteered; she was just that kind of cat. but he sure wasn't going to let her do this. no, at least not without him. he was just about to argue back when a lighter voice talked. it was Acornpaw. this made him surprised. Acornpaw? he'd never have pictured her doing anything like pretending to betray and clan and train with the tribe. no, the thought never crossed his mind.
he knew that he had to go, if either of them goes. he's an apprentice too, and have learned quite a lot of skills from his mentor already to protect himself if needed. he couldn't afford to have either of them get hurt. he glanced at both of the slim she-cats, then turned his determined and stubborn dark blue eyes to the glowing shine of Whitemoon. "I'll go." he meowed, his voice hard. although he wished all of them would get to go, he didn't want them to get hurt... it wouldn't matter if he got killed anyways. his family didn't even care about him anymore, he had no friends except for these cats who share the same prophecy as him, and he was never part of anything great in the clan. no, not even the leader talked to him before except on his ceremony. he didn't matter.

OOC: I like the three apprentice idea! Then each one can get a special power so the tribe will accept them!!!
IC: Pondpaw struggled to sustain her fear scent. It seemed every cat was looking at her, and piercing into her short silver-blue fur. But then a soft voice rang out. As the slim Waterclan apprentice turned her head, she saw the light colored pelt of Acornpaw. Acornpaw coming too? Pondpaw couldn't help but feel overjoyed by this. But as Smokepaw spoke up, reality set in. If they all went, then they would all be in danger. Pondpaw's emerald eyes of joy quickly changed, as she looked at the two other apprentices. Fear rippled threw her body for them.
Foxcloud didn't like the idea of three apprentices going. They had so much more to live for. The she-cat warrior suddenly bent over, and gave a loud several quick coughs (Yes, cats cough. My cat did it when he was sick.) "Well, it seems I'm not going. I can’t see why the tribe would want a sick cat. Even if it was only a small cold...." Foxcloud felt slightly disappointed she wouldn't be able to help out her clan, and save the apprentices from going threw this. She could only pray to Starclan that who ever was chosen, would not go threw too many hardships.

Acornpaw sighed with relief. At least ONE of the cats didn't object to her decision. Not listening to what Foxcloud had to say, she pictured herself with the Tribe. A blast of shivers spread through her. No one could predict what would happen there. If they were able to come out alive, then it would be a miracle. Though one thing she hope was that she would be beneficial to the Tribe. That way, no one there would question them as much. If she made one mistake, it would reveal their hidden identity and worst of all, it would lead the other two apprentices in danger. If either of the two apprentices suffered on her behalf, she could no longer live peacefully anymore. It would always haunt her forever. She no longer deserved or have any reason for that deed to occur for her. But wheter or not if SHE would live was a different story, her life was in the hands StarClans'. She was a loner anyways, so it didn't matter if she suddenly disappeared one day. Though what she would regret most, was not able to see her parents face to face before joining the ranks of Starclan during this dangerous mission. She knew they were trying very hard for her, giving her the very best. Yet the more she thought about it, the more she felt she was a burden to them. I'm sorry mom and dad, it's best if I wasn't alive. I shouldn't even come to this world. Is that what you guys think too? She would always question herself with that question. Was it better off like that? Trying hard to fight back her tears, she concentrated very hard to listened intently to what the others had to say. She didn't bother speaking anymore. She didn't want to give out hints that she was suffering from this deep emotion that couldn't be expressed to others. That the others wouldn't understand.

IC: Pondpaw gave a thankful nodd to Acornpaw and Smokepaw. Her emerald eyes were grateful, but her heart cursed the fact that they must suffer the training of the tribe with her. That is, if Whitemoon picks them all.
