The Brightest Fire.~

OOC: This is a thread starring Brightstream and Foxcloud.

IC: Her tail rose and fell slowly on the damp cave floor. Its frozen touch offered little comfort for a cat seeking warmth from the outside snow. Though this she-cat wasn't in search of warmth this high moon night.

Piercing amber eyes shined in the cave's darkness. Their gaze intent on the entrance. Soft white flakes of snow swirled playfully despite the downcast mood of the cave. The loud roar of the waterfall echoed within its depths, making it hard for any spying cats to hear the important news to be shared unless they were inside themselves. The she-cat grinned. This was why she chose this spot. Her claws unsheathed and scratched the cave floor impatiently. Where was that Brightstream? Foxcloud would only wait for so long. Her sharpened claws sheathed once more, as she pictured the look on the Waterclan she-cat's face.

What had Foxcloud seen? Potential. What else? Back at the Waterclan camp, she also thought she saw respect in the warrior's eye. The respect you see in the eyes of an apprentice as they watch their mentor prove to be the best of the best. The Fireclan deputy's faded grin returned. This time more twisted. Her fox red fur was barely visible in the caves darkness, its outline the only hint of her doom bringing presence in Waterclan territory. The Fireclan deputy saw no reason to worry of a passing patrol, for she has watch them pass without even a second glance at the caves near the waterfall.

Brightstream, watch me take you to better things then the life of a common warrior. Foxcloud's twisted mind plotted, as her sharp yellow eyes snapped to an approaching outline of a cat.

OOC: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry for not being on! D= so happy to have a special thread just reserved just for Fallen and Foxy tho. ^^

IC: Brightstream decided to hunt on her own again, like she always did. Covered in mud, she was distinct from any other Waterclan cat. And today, for some strange reason, she had a feeling that she needed to go to the caves. Those dark, cold caves where any secret would have been sealed without ever escaping. Those caves where no cat went. And somehow, she scented a bit of Fireclan scent.

Foxcloud The name popped into her mind, and her red-tinted eyes turned into slits. Not of hostility, but of interest. Wonder. Uncontrollable excitement of meeting one with such evil power.

Her eyes shone through the dark when she smoothly slipped past the waterfall and entered the pitch black cave. There weren't any sign of another cat, besides the opposite glint from eyes, almost exactly reflecting hers, and a outline of dark fur.

"I thought I smelled you," Brightstream meowed, without the slightest fear in her voice, yet she felt like she had a need to dip her head to Foxcloud, though her eyes never looked away; never let down her guard.

OOC: Thats okay! =O My dad's Internet went out, so I couldn't get on this weekend! *sadness*



IC: "Don't flatter yourself. If I wished it, my scent would have been well hidden." Foxclouds words were sharp, breaking any possible idea of hidden kindness. "Though from what I have seen from you, I'd expect your senses to detect any type of hint before a surprise attack." These words contradicted the first. They were softer, like a mentor complementing an apprentice in a way that was not intended to make the young apprentice kocky about their victory.

"I assume you know why I am here. I've heard much from gossip about you; as I'm sure you have of me." The Fireclan deputy gathered to her paws, and began to slowly pace to Brightstream. Foxcloud's fox red fur coming into the dim light of the slightly distant cave entrance. Her sharp yellow eyes flashed darkly. In a split second, those eyes revealed all the dark things they had witnessed her sharpened claws do. "The tribe can only teach you so much, and even the most skilled fox needs her ears to be in more then one place. Only one set can do so much." Foxcloud's words echoed slightly in the cave, the the forceful crashing of the waterfall violently broke them up before they reached the outside. Her sharpened claws harshly scraped against the cave wall as she stretched, carving them down and grinning and at the revolting sound result of her actions.

Suddenly, she stopped. Allowing mercy to the ears. Foxcloud turned her deadly eyes on the Waterclan warrior. Lips parted in a twisted grin as she spoke in almost a whisper, "Have you ever wanted to be more, Fallen?"

By now I'm sure it is clear what Foxcloud has in mind for Fallen/Brightstream. Every evil villain had some kind of partner. Zira trained Kovu. Scar had the hyenas.

OOC: OOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOVE IT! =D the video was SO COOL! <3 listened to it 3 times lol now i'm excited! =P

IC: Fallen understood her meaning; Foxcloud's plan was to have her to help. Like second in command... although she didn't want to show the dark red she-cat that she was intimidated, it was clear who had the power. It was just there.

Her ears flattened as Foxcloud whispered, so very dangerously. "Have you ever wanted to be more, Fallen?" How did the Fireclan deputy known her tribe name? the mud-covered she-cat had no doubt that Foxcloud had her ways, like she always did. Nothing stopped her and nothing got past her. The thought of it made Fallen unsheathed her claws. And yet... yeeessss... yessss she wanted more. a lot more. And there was only one way to get it...

By following Foxcloud.

Suddenly, Fallen sheathed back her claws. She knew now who was boss. Without another second of hesitation, she gave Foxcloud a firm nod, her eyes darker than ever, but unwavering. Although the next cat might have had a lot of questions, but no, not her. She didn't question the tribe, and she wouldn't question Foxcloud. She was sure of who to follow. "I'm with you."

"Good." Foxcloud simply purred, twisted joy in her yellow eyes. "Our 'prey' are planned. Their deaths always have a reason. An excuse..." The Fireclan deputy slowly paced around Fallen. Foxcloud paused in front of her, only giving a sideways glance as she added these words sterner. "All of your victims are cleared by me before you even lift a single claw in their direction. Is this understood!?" By the end of the sentence, the deputy was turned to Fallen. Her teeth bared and proximity close. Sharp yellow eyes watching the Waterclan warrior as if she were smaller, despite their equal size.



OOC: You can't expect there not to be ground rules... >.o"

It took a lot just for Fallen not to flinch from Foxcloud's deathly voice. Even with all that, her darkening eyes wavered and her tail twitched slightly, like the fear was trying to get out but was buried away... buried alive. Yes, she did fear the FIreclan deputy. Despite having trained with Silentkill, Fallen still hasn't ever felt such power before. So much power and ambition... and evil. Even the Tribe leader had some sympathy sometimes.

"Yes," Her voice almost broke with fear when she spoke, but she cleared her throat again to give a firm confirmation. "Yes, understood."

ooc: Oohhh!! Evil!! Hehe, could the Tribe come in here? A random cat, but the Tribe? Foxcloud can test Fallen. *points to a random cat enthusiastically* sp?
