The thin dew of the morning mist made the air humid; a woozy cat stepped out of the den, eyes fluttering from sleepiness. She stumbled over to the fresh-kill pile, wet grass sticking to her paws. The humid felt good. Spiritheart pulled a plump vole out of the pile and delightfully munched into the morning meal. "Mmmm," she purred as amazing tastes overcame her. She decided to go slow with this one, not breathe it down like almost every prey she ate, being hungry alot. |

Silversong purred as the light breeze tickled her fur and siphoned off the humid air. Her plumy tail flicked with pleasure, and she stretched lightly, enjoying the wind in the midst of the hot spell. She licked back her fur and padded over to the fresh kill pile. Seeing Spiritheart, she called out a greeting.

"Huh-wuh?" Spiritheart looked up warily, still dazed from sleep. "Hi Silversong," she purred through a mouthful of vole. She lazily put a paw on the vole's head, ripping a piece of meat stuck to a bone. After the vole was completely malnourished of the meat, Spiritheart licked a paw and drew it over her ear. She had some sleepers under her eyes...trying to get rid of it, she rubbed her eyes, starting to feel even more sleepy. |

Silversong purred in amusement. "Hey there Spiritheart," she mewed. "Drowsy morning, isn't it?" she grabbed a mouse and walked over to the other warrior. "Surely you slept well?"

Runningstripe stretched his dark tabby legs, his pelt rippleing. the morning dew had already settled on his skin as he smelled Spiritheart and Silversong, two she-cats of LightningClan, chatting. "good morning Spiritheart, Silversong," the blind cat mewed.

Runningstripe blinked over his blind eyes. "Well, I can go get you something from the fresh kill pile if you want..." He was confused. Why couldn't Spiritheart just get it for herself?

Spiritheart picked out a mole for herself, but felt selfish. What about the clan? They need food... She put it back and padded back to the group. "Actually, the clan needs food first. I'll control my hunger this time. |

"I'd LOVE too!!" Spiritheart bubbled. She grabbed some prey then literaly gasped it down. "oh...woops...URP! Yea. We're gonna need more food," she murmered. Hopefully, the food obsession will die down for Leaf-bare, making things easier and she won't grab every piece of food she sees. |

Runningstripe laughed at Spiritheart's excitedness. "Great! Let's go to the Feild of Gold!" He winked one blind to her and shouted as he ran past her, "Last one there is fresh kill!" His heart burst as if he was an apprentice again!
