The wind drifted silently through the camp of LightningClan. It seemed as though it would be another normal day, the warriors and their apprentices off training, huinting, or patroling and all the other clan cats seem to be at ease. In the Warrior's Den, a mass of brown, black, ginger, and white was huddled in a small little bed of moss near the center of it all. The shape moved, stretched, and got up. Battleheart was awake.
"I guess I'll go out hunting." he remarked to himself as he started to groom his messy fur. It didn't seem too bad outside today, the sun was shining and it was mild outside. It would be best to make good out of the weather leaf-fall had to give because it wouldn't be long until the coldness of leaf-bare got them.
Once he was finished grooming, the odd colored tom made his way outside, taking care not to wake any of his denmates. It seems as though he would be hunting alone today, but that didn't bother Battleheart one bit...

Tigerfur watched as Battleheart left out of the den. She swiftly prodded Swiftface in his side, and makeing sure he was awake, she followed Battleheart out of the den. "Are you going hunting Battleheart?" "If you are, can Swiftface and I come?"

Goldeneye padded into camp with a vole clamped in his jaws. he was out hunting, but because of the cold he wasn't able to find much prey. after he dropped the vole off onto the freshkill pile, he turned to see Battleheart heading towards the camp entrance. he didn't usually see Battleheart around, but whenever he did, the tom didn't seem to have any friends around. maybe he could make friends with the more experienced tom.
then he saw Tigerfur and Swiftface; the two cats seemed to be together all the times. were they mates? he shook his head that he didn't even know the cats of his clan well.
"hi," the deputy meowed, padding up to Battleheart, Tigerfur, and Swiftface. "are you all going out to hunt?"

Swiftface greeted his deputy with a purr and replied, "Tigerfur just asked Battleheart if we could join." He turned his gaze to Tigerfur with full of love and affection. I have to tell her how I feel, and soon. Then Swiftface turned his questioning eyes back to battleheart waiting for a response.

OOC: oh so are Tigerfur and Swiftface in love? or do u want my dear Goldeneye to stick in and create a HUGE plot of a love fight? =P LOL i know, im evil. XP
IC: Goldeneye nodded with approval. "good idea. there aren't much prey around though, because it's getting so cold out there." he gave a slight shiver and grinned at the cats, though his eyes lingered on Tigerfur for a heartbeat longer. "let's make this a hunting party then." he gave his flank a couple of licks, and announced, glancing at each cat for agreement.

Tigerfur could feel the gazes of Swiftface and Goldeneye boring into her pelt. She felt a bit awkward, she knew she had feelings for Swiftface, and she considered he felt the same way, she was just waiting for the right time for him to say. But is it possible that Goldeneye feels the same way? He was a pretty nice tom, and he is deputy. Oh, StarClan if it comes down to it, who should I choose? "er, so what do you say Battleheart?"

You could catch more prey with more cats anyway." he mewed, eyeing the glances every other cat was seeming to give each other. It seemed as though it would be awkward to go out with everyone like this, but it made no difference to the senior warrior.

Swiftface felt a prick of jealousy as he seen Goldeneye's gaze on Tigerfur. But he pushed it away, and replied, "Great! Shall we be off then?" Even though he wasn't much of a hunter, he still enjoyed a good run through the forest, especially with Tigerfur at his side. But he wasn't sure if he would enjoy it as much as he usally did, at least with Goldeneye being around.

Battleheart nodded. He was eager to go run around, especially since he had just gotten up from his night's rest. It would be impolite to just leave, so he roved his amber eyes over to where Tigerfur and Goldeneye were. He was somewhat imaptient today...

Tigerfur flexed her claws in an impatient way. "So where are we going to hunt?" She turned her gaze on all three toms waiting for a response.

Goldeneye tore his gaze away from Tigerfur; he knew Swiftface had fallen for the beautiful she-cat since they were young, but he didn't know about Tigerfur. did she love Swiftface the way both toms do her? well that question will probably stay unanswered today, at least.
"great. let's go to the sun tree," the deputy suggested, though it was more of an announcement. then the four were off, with Goldeneye leading the patrol. that was the warmest area in the territory, so there should be at least some prey around.
