OOC: This is only for Lakeripple and Toxicpaw!
IC: Toxicpaw rushed to meet her mentor. She was running a little late. Grr! I knew i shouldnt have seen Fuzepaw today! But . . . at least he's doing good . . . Toxicpaw's frown turned to a smile. Her pads brushed against the soft dirt. The leaves blew up behind her, brushing against her tail. She saw Lakeripple up ahead. "Lakeripple!" she called softly, hoping not to be in to much trouble. She slowed down, scenting the air. No trace of Fuzepaw was on her, so she thought . . .

Lakeripple turned to her apprentice, and gave a swift nod to acknowledge her. "You're late," she mewed softly.

Lakeripple smiled. "A little bit of both. Brooksplash and I have been talking, and it seems that we are both evaluating our apprentices today. If you both do well, there will be a warrior's ceremony tonight."

Toxicpaw's eyes widen in shock. "Really?!?!" she asked excitedly She looked at her mentor, checking to see if she was lying. It didnt look like it. *smiles happily* "Yea!" she said happily She jumped up and down happily. I'll get to be a warrior soon! I have to tell Nightpaw and Fuzepaw soon! she said happily Her eyes shined from the light, waiting for when it would start. "Im ready when ever you are!" she said happily

OOC: Im SOOOOO sorry i havent replied to this in like FOREVER! Skool and all that. Plus, my mom wont let me on that much . . . and i just got done with our Homecoming week so yea . . . Anyways . . . Toxicpaw nodded eagerly. She watched her mentor disappear in the shadows. She knew she was still there, just not WHERE she was. Toxicpaw nodded, then parted her jaws. The sweet scent of the evening air was intoxicating. She stalked forward, hunting out food. A squirrel crossed her path. Toxicpaw froze, going into the hunters crouch. She stalked forward, pouncing a killing the squirrel. She smiled, then scratched dirt over it. She reparted her jaws, scenting the air again. A soft breeze picked up, cooling her off. She closed her eyes, luving this, then remembered. She snapped her eyes open, scenting the air again.
*Moments later*
Toxicpaw smiled triuphantly. So far she had 2 squirrels, 1 rabbit, 4 mice, and 3 birds. She was tired, and it was really late. She yawned, looking around for Lakeripple. I hope this is enough! she thought happily |

Lakeripple purred at her apprentice's catch, and smiled wickedly. Letting out a yowl, and landed in front of Toxicpaw. "Now," she grinned. "The fighting part."

Toxicpaw jumped back from shock. She looked at her mentor, smirking. "Ready, Lakeripple!" she said mockingly She tensed her muscles, tail lashing back and forth. Her eyes never left Lakeripple. She would wait for her mentor to make a move before she did . . .

Toxicpaw watched her mentor leap into the air. Toxicpaw smirked, and jumped up to meet her mentor in the air. She hoped she did enough power to push her mentor back. She would have to wait and see on the outcome . . .

At the last minute Lakeripple ducked, letting Toxicpaw sail past her. She landed daintily on her feet, and whipped around with the speed of a tiger and a cheetah combined.

Toxicpaw spun on her front paws, twisting to face her mentor. She smiled mockingly. "Is that it?" she says happily She crouches down, rocking her back haunches. She makes a running dash towards Lakeripple. Right at the last second, she skids to a stop, spinning around her mentor. Her paw outstretched to "scratch" her on the side . . .

Toxicpaw jumped back away from her mentor. Her lavander eyes narrowed into little slits. There is no way im giving up! Not when we just started! She shook her head, and went into the hunters crouch. She sat waiting, muscles tense. Her eyes watched and calculated her mentors movements. This time, she would be ready . . .

Toxicpaw watched her mentor launch into the air. Her muscles tensed up even further.(if thats possible! O . O; ) She waited till her mentor was close enough, then sprang to the left. She spun quickly in mid step, aiming her paw at her mentors shoulder. Maybe this time i'll connect . . .

Toxicpaw dodged back out of Lakeripple's counter. *grins* "Tired yet?" she challenged She went down into the hunters crouch, then sprang. She landed a little to the left of Lakeripple, then sprang again. Her goal was to shove her mentor of her feet . . .
